Pathetic excuse for a "deep narrative" this game dares to spit on the face of the millions of people who have violently resisted colonial oppression, prejudice, and labor exploitation. I really think whoever wrote this pile of shit needs to go read some books instead of sitting in their posh apartment spitting on the poors and whining about how if we use violence we are just as bad as the bad guys.

At least the gameplay is passable and the world design is good. I just can't get over the writing, narrative, and worldbuilding.

As somebody who is a freak for card games this is such a good steam deck/time sink roguelite Poker game. There is a ton of replayability and I love the idea of collecting Jokers and Tarot cards :)

The gameplay and loot loops are satisfying enough. But everything else just lacks vision. Procedurally generated dungeons and encounter zones that you will see repeated over and over again until you've memorized the location of every single chest credstick and enemy spawn in the game really ruins all the exploration mechanics.

This game is like Cyberpunk in that it is a game that tries to be 2 games at once. However instead of GTA and an ARPG it is trying to combine No Mans Sky with the gameplay loop of Fallout 4. This leads to an incredibly jolting and disjointed experience where nearly every system in the game is completely disconnected from the game itself. You can play the entire main story of the game without once touching the exploration mechanics because they just aren't necessary and really end up detracting from the experience as a whole.

Thank Pete Gamepass exists. Clunky shooting mechanics, humor that is written for 12 year old boys who watch too much southpark, and unbearable handholding all make this game a chore to play. It is not worth playing and it is for sure not worth $60 for the pleasure.

Hello comrades and friends. I have a parasocial relationship with Joshua Eric Sawyer. That is all.

Re-played on PC with a totally legal emulation. Amazing title and one of the best platformers of its era in my opinion. It has a great story and some really good sequences that make it a very strong title.

Immersive Simulations continue to be the most satisfying gaming experiences available. I have no qualms with saying that when this title is out of EA it will be on par with Dishonored, Prey, and the original Thief games.

Somehow this game is still the pinnacle of the franchises campaign's. This game made you feel like a soldier fighting through all the fronts of world war 2 rather than a supersoldier in a hollywood blockbuster. Too bad we probably won't get another COD campaign like this.

A fun and deep arcade baseball game that stands entirely seperate from similar titles in the sports genre. No microtransactions, no BS, all good sportsball fun. As a big fan of baseball I find myself enjoying the gameplay and ruleset of this game more than any others I have played.

This game is more of a remake than a remaster but IMO that is why it works so well. The original half life was literally my first FPS and I don't even know how many hours I played it for on CD. The original is hard to return to these days and the team at the crowbar collective managed to faithfully recreate the feeling of playing through the original half life for the first time. The mystery, the storytelling, the vibes are all there and hold up well.

My personal favorite Halo game ever made. The main story is so good and the music is just god tier. Unfortunate that we lost the core dev team for Halo because this was the peak of the franchise and also the last good thing that came out of the Halo universe.

This game has become the most important video game of my entire life. I would write an entire essay about it but I worry that I wouldn't have anything particularly original to say about the game so I will highlight my favorite parts for y'all.

The amount of LGBT representation in this game that came out in 2010 of all years is actually refreshing and cool. It never feels forced like it often does in other media where execs are just ticking check boxes rather than writing compelling non-cis characters.

The Gambling mini-games add so much heart to the world and are often left unmentioned in reviews. They are simple but very fun and make me personally always shoot for a high luck character because it guarantees you to do well at them.

I have adapted the card game Caravan into the real world and I play it regularly with my sister and cousins. It is such a satisfying and simple pick up card game. In addition, I spent $250 on an unopened pristine collectors edition box so that I could have the cards showing all the characters from the game as well as the recreations of the poker chips and the platinum chip.

The sheer level of creativity displayed in the writing is one of my favorite things about this game. There are significantly stronger games out there in the narrative and writing department but I implore you to try to find one that matches F:NV level of creativity on a budget. (Other than Disco Elysium ofc)

The final thing I will say is that the endings of this game are almost all satisfying. There are very few ending slides that are wholly disappointing from a role play perspective. Every action that you take in the wasteland that contributes to an ending slide will make you feel satisfied with your choices even if you are role playing an evil or greedy courier.

After over 1000 hours playing mostly vanilla content between Xbox 360. Xbox one, and Steam I can difinitively say Joshua Sawyer and the team that came together to create this masterpiece is truly a treasure of the games industry. When I look for RPG's to play this game is the bar they are held to and nothing really has come close outside of KOTOR 2.

I feel as though Hbomberguy shares my enthusiasm for how good this game is and although I do take some issues with his video as it is imperfect I think the overall excitement we share when talking about this game is a good way of conveying my love for it.

Got 60 hours worth of an engaging, fun, and albeit a little repetitive gamplay loop. Don't regret this purchase at all.

Buy if you enjoyed the first one and ignore the negative reviews.

Also don't bother buying DLC unless you REALLY like this game because they are basically the same thing just with different characters and abilities.

As time goes on my hate for bethesda grows more and more. If this game had any sort of compelling questlines I might give it a higher score but realistically the only compelling thing to do in this game is exist in a wonderfully crafted world full of places to explore and things to do. Its predecessors somehow manage to have better quests across the board while also having a better magic system that doesn't punish you for wanting to be a mage.
