The story was alright and the twist was kind of neat I guess? Just didn't really hit for me.
The combat was fun at first but became a bit of a slog in the second half of the game and Plasmids were neat until I realized just shooting things is way more convenient. A whole wheel of weapons and all I ever wanted to use was the machine gun and shotgun.
The hacking minigame sucks, but can thankfully be avoided with autohacks.
Also Big Daddies are super dissapointing. They're way smaller and weaker than I was expecting.
Rapture is a beautiful location and I really liked the old music, but besides that, Bioshock is just an okay shooter that fails to deliver in most aspects.

8-bit Sonic 3D Blast ft. Seizures

It's really good until World 5, where it just falls off a cliff.

Playing as a Xenomorph is the biggest power fantasy I've ever experienced in a video game and the Predator is really fun too. Both have great grab animations.
The Human campaign is good but the facehuggers are annoying and it's outshadowed by the other two which are much more unique.
The same levels are reused for each campaign but they never feel the same because of how different each species plays.

Blasting through the stages to Hideki Naganuma's amazing soundtrack is so much fun.
There's some cheap level design here and there, and the bosses aren't that great, but the good far outweighs the bad.

Days Gone is so underrated.
It has the perfect amount of survival mechanics, where it's engaging and immersive without being annoying.
I love customizing my bike and riding it through the beatuiful open world.
The best part of the game is the characters and story. I'm a little biased because Sam Witwer, who played the main character, is my favourite actor, but he does a fantastic job as Deacon.
It's a simple story of a man finding his wife, but it's told so well that I really got attached to all the characters, and even though it's really long, the story was never boring.
The only parts I didn't like were the Horde Killer missions. Most of them are optional, but there's a few tied to main story missions and they just aren't fun.
There's also common framerate issues and minor glitches, but nothing to really impact the overall experience.
Incredible soundtrack too.

Really enjoyed my time with this one.
Controls really well. The double jump is the best in the series and being able to homing attack multiple enemies at once is very satisfying.
Not a big fan of the parkour in 3D, but there was only 1 time where it was necessary so it's not a big deal.
Level themes are the generic, grass, desert, ice, lava, themes you'd see in a Mario game, but they're way more visually interesting here.
The story is really bad though. Not a single character in this game is likeable.

It's amazing that they were able to make such a great sequel to this garbage.

I know how to avoid most of the glitches and bullshit so that probably led to me having a better time with this game than most, but even then I think it's a good game.
I enjoyed all the levels except for all versions of Flame Core, Silver's Aquatic Base and Kingdom Valley, and End of The World.
Level design for the most part is good, especially Sonic's levels. The super speed sections can screw you over at the end of the levels, but besides Crisis City, they're pretty easy.
Sonic 06's homing attack is the best in the series because of it being able to defy gravity, and Shadow's has an even longer range which you can use to get some insane distance.
The story isn't very good, but the CG cutscenes are cool.
Solaris is my favourite final boss in any Sonic game, probably thanks to the orchestral version of His World which is my favourite track in the franchise.

Core gameplay is good and most of the bosses are fun even if the difficulty is all over the place. But the open world and constant money grinding, which take up over half the game, are so boring.

Knuckles Chaotix (What the hell is a Chaotix?) is a beautiful game. The stages look amazing and the sprites are really well animated.
The Link Rings can be unwieldy at times but honestly it's pretty funny just watching the characters bounce around like crazy.
I'm not a big fan of the levels where you have to find a switch before getting to the end, but the rest are really fun to just blast through and the final boss is the coolest thing ever.

The first 3 zones are quite fun and the double jump is neat, but the final 2 zones are really bad. Blue Marine is the worst water level in the franchise.

Sonic Heroes is best played in single playthroughs. Don't try to do all 4 back to back because you'll most likely get burnt out by how repetitive it is.
All the levels are bright, colourful and pretty well designed, giving you multiple pathways depending on which team member you use. I could do without the alligator chase and pinball table with bottomless pits though.
The story is simple but good and this is the last game to feature the original voice cast, who I believe are the best the series has ever had. Seriously, David Humphrey's Shadow is so good.
And of course, the soundtrack is great. Especially the vocal themes.

Easily the best of the Advance trilogy. Besides some cheap spike placement and bottomless pits, the levels are overall really good and the partner abilities make them even more fun to traverse. Not quite as fast as Advance 2, but that's a good thing when it comes to the tougher platforming challenges later in the game.
