With a group, it can be fun for a short period. Still plays fairly well, despite the camera being a bit of a detriment to the gameplay. Alone though, its repetitious nature can be tiring and after a couple fights I was ready to call it

Storywise, perhaps the most hilarious thing I've ever played and a wonderful game to represent one of the best and funniest shows ever created. It falls a tad short, with the gameplay being a bit more fun in the sequel.

Got me through a lot of church services

Near perfect video game, the combo challenges broke me and I will not reach for the shiney plat. Beating it on hard and collecting all the riddles was enough gratification. Love this game though

Hands down my favorite MK title. Its a bold choice, especially with how divisive the roster is, the 3D fight style, the cringeworthy dialogue, and a smaller crypt. Yet, it still manages to solidfy itself as the most content rich MK title with an endless barage of fun and deep diving that the Konquest mode allows. I'll be playing this again soon, but its without a doubt the best PS2 game and my personal pick for best MK

Playing this with friends was the closest we'll ever get to a solid online superhero experience. There was some freedom and extensive charm here that a lot of games have tried hard to capture and hold onto for the lifespan this game has had. I wish there was a marvel counterpart though

The definitive "Party Game" of the franchise. Giant roster, mini games, cinematic rpg, custom fighters

Despite having officially the biggest and best roster of any MK game. It is far from competitive, has no character driven fatalities, a quarter of the roster is bland to play as, and its Konquest failed to capture the magic of Deception despite playing a lot better.

I like MKA, but I don't really blame the devs, but Midway and their rush for this. Quantity over Quality was their mission and it shows heavily.

This game still has way more to do than MK1 and MK11 (at least it feels that way)

The best music in the original trilogy, and its bare bones nature allows for such a fun experience for a bit of time. Perhaps the most memorable roster of characters that are so well known in pop culture. Possible the greatest fighting game template ever created!

A diamond in the rough. Controls a bit loose, and the games design contributes to somewhat unneccesary levels of difficulty this game can stomp into you, but yet... It's wildly creative, colorful, dark and action packed with a lot to offer. A genre bending horror disguised as a Ninja game. Its brilliant and a lot of fun.

Also, if you're in the mood for booze on a retro game night. Make someone chug a beer or take a shot everytime they die. See how far you make it!

2022

I don't get the hype. Its cute, yeah and relaxing. But, I guess I'm just not fine-tuned for this type of game

The game that engulfs so much of my childhood. A lot of things about this beauty still hold up. It's simplicity and humor still resonate with many gamers, and it'll always hold a special place in my heart loaded with memories.

Bold and brave, but just came out at the wrong time. I put a few hours into this and actually found it quite inspiring and fun. Its ideas and mechanics weren't "all there", but there was the groundwork for something very stellar here

Arguably, the game that encapsulates my entire childhood. Other than a couple others. I think MediEvil is a very special game that is more than just a cult classic. I don't think there is anything like it. Sure, its controls and camera are heavily dated but its tone, aesthetics, inventory structure, level layouts, progression, and backtracking were something very innovative for its time. At least it was to me, and a lot of games for years didn't match it. There was a sense of independence w/ Medievil and Dan was the perfect vessel for me to immerse myself into the Burton-esc journey it bestows.

Repetitious and tough as nails sometimes. Not fun going rogue on this one, much better with a squad

Just feels like 6 steps backwards, and made 3,4,5 that much better. FC6 left a poor taste in my mouth, and leaves me with little to no desire to go for a 7th installment
