Absolutely phenomenal! The graphics and attention to detail are breathtaking, the soundtrack can be eerie in the most beautiful (or suspenseful) way, the combat is extremely smooth, and the ambiance all throughout is just outstanding. The length of the game is perfect, making replaying and S'ing a lot less of a headache and a lot more enjoyable. The original game didn't particularly need a remake, but it came out a knockout, modernizing the story but without taking away the charm of the original. It took it's original cast and recreated them in the most likeable way, everyone's personalities feel a lot more fleshed out and raw, a lot more realistic. The banter between characters and their overall dialogue was very well done.

Nothing in this game was scary, but that's alright since that wasn't even what I was personally looking for. The intensity and suspense were mostly what kept me from wasting no time to get to the end. The controls are very fun and easy to manage, my only gripe is my weapon menu lags but hey, that could just be a problem on my console's end. Sadly this game got hit with the microtransaction beam, with the items in the online store that can help you out in the game, but whatever. The fact that this game is still getting DLC's and updated content is something to look forward to, definitely making this game worth buying. [Merchant voice] bang for your buck!
