Absolute mess. That is, I am, after going through this game. I needed therapy. The game is phenomenal though.

If I was writing this 2 or so months ago, before XC3: Future Redeemed released, I would be calling this the best piece of DLC ever released. It's not perfect, the side quests are rough and the pacing can be weird because of the forced side quests, but it improves on everything I took issue with in XC2 and delivers a great story along with it, along with being around 20 hours long for a DLC, which is so wild.

So uh I have hundreds of hours in this game and I plan on playing hundreds more. Don't sleep on this because it's an MMO. It's absolutely peak FF, with the big but being ARR can be long and rough. It's worth every penny and hour though, I promise you.

Van Arkride makes me happy on so many levels. Can not wait for more of the western fandom to experience this amazing game and the best start to an arc this series has had.

If you beat FC and haven't started this one, what are you doing?

Get over those Barriers! This game is so peak I love Trails, easily the best game in the series imo.

The game that started it all for the Xeno series. As you would expect if you have played any game in the series, this story goes places. And those places happen to affect you in very deep ways. An absolute ps1 classic, and one of Yasunori Mitsuda's best soundtracks.

YES this game is so good! The story hits hard, it somehow manages to salvage the mess episode 2 left into something brilliant, and tie off the series wonderfully, while also having two of the best turn based battle systems I've ever played, in both it's mech and ground combat. Absolute must play if you can get yourself through episode 2.

Wow this game is just not it. Certain parts of the story are great, and it is worth getting through to experience episode 3, but this game's combat is bad. Really bad. And it's so damn boring, and the characters are so ugly, and many dub actors from episode were replaced for the worse, it's just so rough.

Any story Tetsuya Takahashi or Soraya Saga writes is going to be amazing and go some crazy places. Great characters and writing, but the combat hasn't aged the greatest, with some very long battle animations, while still being fairly fun. A great game overall.

This is my favorite game of all time. It takes the best parts of the first two Xenoblades to create something both unique and deeply resonant with me. A game that had me laughing, losing my shit, and sobbing like a baby on multiple occasions paired with a beautiful world that is the best take on the 'remixing locations from old games' troupe I've ever seen, and the amazing combat system that is my favorite take on a job system in a jrpg. Absolute masterpiece.

Rough start but when this game gets going it really gets going. It's worth looking past every flaw to experience the amazing actually peak fiction story and one of the most satisfying jrpg combat systems ever created.

Great upgrade to one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Amazing story, world and gameplay. No reason not to play this series for anyone who owns a switch.

LET TAKAHASHI COOK. If this wasn't a DLC it would be my GOTY, but because it technically isn't a full game I'm not calling it that. Amazing conclusion to the story started with XC1, and an amazing expansion of the lore for Xenoblade 3, and Xenoblade as a whole, plus banger OSTs and a great take on 3's combat. I love the aged up old characters, along with the new ones! A will have my heart forever.
