This is the game Fez was supposed to be. As a metroidvania, its a 7 or an 8 out of 10 but as a puzzle box whose secrets slowly reveal themselves as you explore past its ending, its a 9/10 or higher.

Review in the works. TLDR Its really good but its primary audience is surprisingly niche. And it isn't FF7 fans.
