Instead of flying out of the car head first they go crotch first this time. Physics are somehow worse than on PS2 and the minigames are boring and lame. This game makes me sad. Play Flatout 2 instead

8 Player Flatout 2 Minigames on Home Parties a good time. But be prepared to yell the name of the person who's turn it is through the entire house many times. Because nobody will wait 7 turns and just watch. They'll go get drinks or be playing another game in the meantime... it's just a hassle... but thats not the games fault.
There is racing too... doesn't affect me any.

I dont care about the racing. I play highjump with 4 players and I play all of them. Unless I have friends over but then we play Flatout 2 instead
Just like Urban Reign this game SHOULD be already in your beside your PS2 if you are hosting a home party. This is one of THE local multiplayer games of all time. And with THE I mean THE BEST.

My problem with this game is that I mained Zangief
I play this game everyday and do 30 Pushups after reach fight. That's 300 Pushups for the whole arcade mode.

I liked the chain combos in alpha 1 but I cant be too sad because they added custom combos which makes my brain do a backflip everytime I activate it
The blocking sound effect in this game is my ASMR Trigger
Whenever im in a social place like a bar or something and they have darts or foosball or something I always wish they also had Super Street Fighter 2 Super Tubo. Because it is a rather simple game and everybody should be able to play it because I want to play this against random strangers 24/7

This is a perfect game. Simple and fun. I think modern fighting game should really take inspiration from Super Turbo's simplicity. You can dumb down Motion Inputs all you want, add modern controlls or whatever but that doesn't change the fact that modern fighting games are just too bloated with mechanics and long combos. I don't like that fighting games evolved into the direction of: "how many mechanics can we invent to extend combos". There was nothing wrong with the simple "Jump Attack > Ground Attack > Special" formula. Combos never needed to be longer than that.
Despite all their efforts I still think this is one of the most accessible fighting games out there. The comparatively smaller roster also works to this game's benefit imo and makes it all comprehensible enough. Deserves one of my few 5/5 ratings

They are new Challengers but that sure dont mean they have all their moves yet. Better wait for turbo version
