It must be the childhood nostalgia that's making this game feel somehow better than everyone says it is. You do have to admit that the PSS was one of the best QoL changes Pokemon ever had.

Completed the base game and both expansions, and can confidently say that this is easily better than GTA V, albeit is worse when it comes to multiplayer, but that's a given due to differences in releases.

A great story, gameplay somehow more refined that its successor in many ways, a better map imo, and overall just feels more defined and less bloated than V does. Combined with the atmosphere of the city around you, nothing feels better than cruising around the city, seated in a Comet listening to JNR, all the while listening to the rain pour down.

Damn, this is what games should be.

This is one of many games to make me question "HOW TF DID THE DS HAVE SO MANY GOOD GAMES!?".

It's good. Like, really good. Play it on DS tho, it's better on it.

Farewell is hard as balls, but I got through and feel more in control than ever, even if it only gets harder from here with modpacks. Here's to that and many more!

This is certainly an FPS game under the Bioshock IP.

Real ones know the challenge behind the shooting levels in this game, good lord.

Way too damn fun. Everything is fantastic, from the aesthetic, to the music, to the enemies, to the GAMEPLAY. Everything just works and it creates a miracle of a title that just doesn't get old, and I will continue to play until I die.

I think you should play this. Gabriel wants you to as well.

Curious Village, but EVEN BETTER.

An all time classic. Dated as all get-out, but with a modding community that SOMEHOW still exists nearly two decades later, it's remarkable what this game has done for my childhood. On top of that, it's still a solid title, and at least a better entry that Roller Coaster Tycoon World is.

An absolute classic of an FPS, seemingly dated yet timeless at the same time. It carries an atmosphere outside of the one it presents, and that's horrifying. Great gameplay, engaging story, and can run on a potato. You owe yourself to play this one.

A pretty fun jaunt around an island of funny snack creatures, trapping them in creative ways, and dwelling upon thoughts of existential dread and depression.

Fun for the whole family!

Phenomenal title I recommend to everyone. Gets incredibly hard on the B and C-Sides, but through trial and error you can get through them. Music is stellar, artstyle is lovely, and it is by far in a way one of my absolute favorite games period. PLAY IT.

The potential for VR as a massive platform is easily shown with this game, in both good and bad directions. On one hand, you have a powerful communication tool that brings people from around the world together in a way never done before, but with that level of communication leaves some undesirables.

Where it might be seen as a fair criticism to blame youths for degrading the quality of a game, I do believe that is the case here, where the primary goal of this experience is quality interactions and healthy relationship building. When children way too young to own a VR headset obtain one over say a PS5, they gain access to what was previously a much more mature space due to the expense of hardware. This in turn lets in younger audiences who haven't matured fully into spaces typically composed of adults, and ruins the atmosphere for those who previously sought refuge and a way to connect to people like them.

That aside, the game still has great capabilities, and if certain sectors were provided for younger audiences to congregate, leaving other worlds more adult-oriented, then maybe the game's aura could improve.

Also, please play this on SteamVR over Quest hardware. The problems involving youngins are reduced by a large margin, but not fully.

I'd argue this is the most nostalgic game of all time. There truly isn't anything quite like this game for those that played it when they were younger. Sure you can feel nostalgic for other titles in kinda similar ways, but this is a completely different level of nostalgia.

Obscenely fun, incredibly vast and detailed, and in no way is 2D Minecraft. It has more character than modern Minecraft anyway, so it's an unfair comparison either way.

Regardless, a great title I really should play more of.
