20 hours in and I have reached my first temple.

It is unbelievable how much better this is over BOTW

This shit fucking sucks but it's kinda funny

Score: 91/100

Story: 9/10
God of War Ragnarok has an amazing story no doubt, and most people would say that it is better than the first game's story. I am not one of those people. The story has much higher highs than its predecessor, but the pacing really kills it in certain parts, like Ironwood and to a lesser extent Vanaheim. The story grinds to a halt in these parts and really tested my patience, which is I can't give the story a 10/10 like I would definitely want.

Gameplay: 9/10
The addition of a new weapon in the spear, and Atreus being playable adds much-needed variety to the gameplay of Ragnarok, but these additions don't stop the somewhat annoying puzzles and tacked-on RPG mechanics that ever so slightly bring down the overall gameplay.

Graphics/Performance: 10/10
Runs amazing, and looks amazing.

Art Direction: 10/10
Varied locations, flashy combat, and jaw-dropping set pieces all combine to make an amazing-looking game.

Music: 10/10
An amazing soundtrack from Bear McCreary once again, so, so good.

Sound Design: 10/10
Everything sounds wonderful, especially during combat. The stellar sound design makes every hit feel like it has weight behind it and makes glory kills so much more satisfying.

Extras: 6/10
While there is a lot to do in the post-game, there isn't really much pulling me back to the game, besides a couple of things, such as the fallen pieces of Asgard.

Overall Enjoyment: 9/10
An amazing game, brought down by a couple of little things, I still highly recommend God of War Ragnarok.

Score: 86/100

Breath of the Wild is no doubt an amazing game but I didn't get as much out of it as many other people have.

Even though the combat isn't the best out there, the exploration throughout Hyrule and puzzle-solving in shrines and the divine beasts were amazing.

The story was much better than I expected and it was especially fun to track down all the memories and be rewarded with a new cutscene to watch, but I do hope that they can improve on the narrative in TOTK.

Overall a great game, I don't know how people can rate this lower than 4 stars.

Score: 78/100

For a free-to-play April Fool's joke, The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog is a huge surprise to me. With great art direction and a great soundtrack, along with a weirdly good and intriguing story, I recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of visual novels or just Sonic in general.

Score: 83/100

I have never felt so cool.

Score: 55/100

Story: N/A
I really hope I can comment on this sometime next year.

Gameplay: 7/10
I really loved the first game and was excited to see what cool and interesting new changes the long-awaited sequel could bring. The changes they have made are making games 5v5 instead of 6v6, which is a questionable decision, a new game mode, which is fine, and a few character changes. That's it. The character changes that were made either take away from characters I used to like or were made to characters I don't even play. Sojourn is a fun new character, junker queen isn't for me and kiriko is locked behind a fucking paywall (which I will get to later). Overall the general gameplay is still solid, but it is barely changed from what we have been playing for over 6 years now.

Graphics: 8/10
Still looks pretty great but there are no noticeable changes at all.

Soundtrack: 6/10
Pretty sure everything is reused apart from the main menu theme.

Sound design: 8/10
The original's was good, so this will be good.

Artstyle/Art direction: 8/10
Can't find it in me to fault Overwatch's diverse selection of characters and locations.

Extras: 2/10
Firstly, any extra modes in the game are basically entirely the same as overwatch 1, they're fine. Secondly, the battle pass sucks. Locking characters behind 15 Australian dollars is absurd, considering we got every character for free in the last game. On top of that dumbass Blizzard forgot how to transfer people's skins and cosmetics over, so now I have lost many of the cosmetics I paid real money for.

Overall enjoyment: 5/10
Overwatch 2 has made me incredibly mad, but I still had fun when playing with friends.

Score: 76/100

Gameplay: 8/10
Various locations with different effects and many, many different characters all with different special abilities make almost every game you play feel different and most importantly fun.

Graphics: 7.5/10
Very pleasing to look at for a mobile game and it does the job pretty well.

Art Style/Art Direction: 8/10
Apart from the bland board? you play on, all the cards look really cool and the special effects while placing cards are appreciated.

Soundtrack: 5/10
Meh.

Sound Design: 8/10
The sounds that play when placing cards and when special effects occur sound great and really fit what is happening.

Overall Enjoyment: 7/10
I find myself really addicted to marvel snap and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys card games. Microtransactions aren't shoved in your face and your progress through the game at a reasonable pace even if it would probably take you years to complete everything in it.

Score: 86/100

Story: N/A
There is technically a story in the career mode but I feel like it is so insignificant it's barely worth mentioning and because I spent a good amount of time listening to music or talking to my friends I didn't pay attention anyway.

Gameplay: 10/10
Perfect. In Dirt 5 you basically only use the two triggers but it feels so good to control it doesn't matter. Dirt 5 also combines simulation rally racing with a bit of arcadey control, which I think makes this game a great competitive and casual game. It also offers various different types of races, so even if you don't like a couple of certain types there are still plenty to choose from and almost anyone should be able to beat the campaign.

Graphics: 10/10
Beautiful. Loved using photo mode

Art Direction: 10/10
The varied collection of locations and tracks really gave Codemasters a lot to work with. You have your normal-looking rally tracks in different locations to set them apart and then you have modes like ice breaker and gymkhana which are super colourful and look amazing.

Soundtrack: 5/10
Mostly just generic music you hear in a lot of racing games. Does the job though.

Sound Design: 10/10
This really isn't a surprise. Racing games are known for their great sound design and paired with the dualsense controller's speaker it makes for an immersive experience.

Extras: 7/10
Online is fine and the playground mode is neat but just not for me. Splitscreen multiplayer was fun though.

Overall Fun Factor: 8/10
Would've given this a 9 because this game is genuinely really good and a lot of fun, but promising crossplay and then not actually delivering it to us was really annoying when I tried to play with friends on a different platform.

Overall though I highly recommend Dirt 5 to anyone that likes racing games.

Score: 86/100

No need for a review and disregard my score, just play it.

Score: 47/100

Story: 2/10
All the characters are unlikeable dickheads, the story is presented as a TV show and is played in episodes which destroys the pacing and constantly makes me question how much time has passed and in general, the story is super boring and stupid and what I saw from a video on youtube is that the story is even more boring and stupid the longer it goes on

Gameplay: 5/10
Standard FPS mechanics with some interesting new ideas like warrants and evidence, but the general is gameplay is so boring and bland I never want to do those things. I can't really fault it though because it generally feels fine to control.

Graphics: 8/10
For an early 2015 game that was also released on last-gen consoles, it looks pretty nice but compared to other 2015 games like Arkham Knight and Black Ops 3, it doesn't really have a wow factor to bump it up past an 8.

Artstyle/Direction: 5/10
It's fine.

Soundtrack: 3/10
There could've been some good stuff in here but I forgot all the music anyway.

Sound Design: 8/10
Everything sounds nice and realistic, nothing mind-blowing but nothing to complain about either.

Extras: N/A
It could be because I played on Xbox or just that this is a shitty game, but I could not find anyone in multiplayer so I can't give it a rating.

Overall Fun Factor: 2/10
So boring. What a shitty way for Visceral Games to go out.

Score: 90/100

Story: 9/10
Great story with brilliant characters. I will never forget Captain Price, Gaz, Nikolai, and even Sgt Griggs. The devs making you die after the nuke goes off was definitely the right decision after a good few missions where you get to become attached to your main character.

Gameplay: 10/10
So much variety. Before your general shootouts become boring or overdone, you switch to a turret section, an assassination mission, or a stealth mission. The gunplay is great and the controls are slick. Some of the greatest call of duty missions (from what I've heard) are in this game. All ghillied up for example is spectacular, giving you a choice whether to kill soldiers or walk past them, staying prone in the grass as soldiers as walk by, it is so tense and I love it.

Graphics: 10/10
Judging by 2007 standards, wow. This game looks fantastic, all you need to do is look at the nuke scene.

Soundtrack: 8/10
Not as good as black ops 1 or MW2's soundtracks but still damn good. A lot of iconic themes in this one.

Sound Design: 9/10
So good for 2007, Guns sound great, with all of them having their own unique sounds. It's just really good.

Artstyle/Art Direction: 7/10
Some very good art direction in a good few areas, but a lot of the time it can just turn into a mixture of dark greens, greys, and browns.

Extras: 9/10
While simple, the multiplayer, especially with friends, is a blast and so much fun.

Fun Factor: 10/10
I love this game, it's so much damn fun. Great characters, a great story, and a variety of gameplay sections in the campaign make this game one of my favourite FPS games and one of my favourite games of all time.

I highly recommend this game to literally everyone.

Score: 78/100

Story: N/A

Gameplay: 5/10
The gameplay concept isn't bad it just gets repetitive. It's just maintenance on your ship and puzzles every now and then. If it wasn't for the great moments this game had, I probably would've got really bored.

Graphics: 8/10
Technical stuff alone, it's alright. The set pieces on the other hand are spectacular. Whether it's sailing past huge abandoned cargo ships or the ending 15 minutes which I won't spoil, it all is just breathtaking.

Artstyle/Direction: 10/10
This game just had me in awe almost from start to finish. Especially in the moments where it's just you and your ship sailing in a beautiful open area.

Soundtrack: 9/10
Speaking of those moments where it's just you and your ship, that is when the soundtrack really picks up. You are accompanied by soaring music that fits the mood perfectly. The music always comes in at the right time whether you are trying to sail away from imminent danger or just cruising around the world and it made the ending 15 minutes one of the most amazing video game moments ever.

Sound design: 6/10
It does the job.

Extras: N/A

Overall fun factor: 9/10
Even though it's short, this is one of the most breathtaking video games I have ever played. I recommend FAR lone sails to anyone wanting to have a short chilled-out experience.
