Insane improvement over the original game for 99% of its duration, however, the changes to the ending can feel very unnecessary or even downright inferior when compared to the original ending, which holds me back from giving it a 10/10 mark like vanilla P5

Do yourself a favor and play the original DS2 instead of Scholar of the First Sin. It has all the cool stuff from SOTFS (Aldia and dlcs) without any of the annoying shit, which in turn ends up being a great game.

You're better off playing Dark Souls or Nier Automata than this weird. unfulfilling mix of both
