Even for a HD remaster this game was very good. I love linear games that keeps the attention. Open world aspects are cool but sometimes detract way too much from the original story.
Definitely worth a playthrough

I've completed this game once before around release, but after playing through it again, I can't believe how good of a Pokemon game this was.
My first playthrough I got the shiny charm and amassed almost 200 shinys but lost it all when I got a new switch and found out there was no cloud save.
It's still an awesome game and I love shiny hunting.

I played through the game as Leon and Claire to achieve the true ending. I thoroughly enjoyed both playthroughs.
Some of the puzzles were aggravating and I still feel like i missed so much.
Will be doing playthroughs 3 and 4 in the future!

10/10 and if you don't agree, ya mom's a hoe.

Graphically the game is solid. The PC control format was wonky as I couldn't get the camera to stop spinning with a controller.
I can see where this game was meant for multiple playthroughs but I felt it was a one and done kind of play.
Pretty mid in all honesty

Horrid controls made this game unplayable for me and I also wasn't a fan of the art style.

First time playing Dark Souls. Everything before Anor Londo was amazing, but everything after got really tedious.
It was an amazing game regardless though some sections where extremely frustrating due to mechanics.
I could see myself playing again on PC with randomizers.

I gotta say, this one was much harder that its predecessor.
Some of the boss fights had me raging as well as some of the areas that forced you to defeat all enemies before you could progress.
Can't say enjoyed it more than the first one because I didn't but it was still worth a playthrough

The world, the music, and the gameplay were on point with this game. Never thought I would play this game let alone enjoy it.
Did about 2.5 playthroughs, but I couldn't keep going. Game was amazing but my backlog has more games needing to be played and I couldn't dedicate more time to it.

2021

This was a decent metroidvania with souls like elements. Nothing truly amazing and kinda got boring as the game went on. A one and done kind of playthrough

I know I’m quite a few years late, but time didn’t make this game any less amazing. FromSoftware hits on all cylinders 100% of the time.
Like 2 of the bosses gave me actual issues but other than that it was a pretty balanced and enjoyable playthrough.
Some of the areas that had an unnecessary amount enemies at once got kind of annoying but patience and perseverance will get you through it.
Eventually I will get through NG+ and chalice dungeons but getting the secret ending for my first playthrough was satisfying for now.
We need Bloodborne 2
