Beat this game years back as a kid and I've always wanted to revisit it
Still holds up! But I think the biggest issue I have with it is the lives system. I usually don't mind them in games, but for a trial and error puzzle platformer its a bit annoying to deal with.
DK's boss fights aren't to crazy either, but they get the job done.

Never played the original in full, first real experience was the remake
And the original still holds up really damn well, defs one of the best licensed games to exist.

1997
A Kirby game, while being a visual treat with a lovely soundtrack, comes off as a regressive entry to a franchise that was progressing (Super Star was already out).
Putting that aside though, as a sequel to Dreamland 2 it doesn't really do much to improve the prior game's issues it instead amplifies them by making the heart star collectibles really cryptic and the ability combos (now spread across 6 animal friends) being more situational or useless.
I still had a cozy time playing the game, I just wish it done more as a sequel to iron out the flaws from Dreamland 2.

Another little gem in Siactro's library of skall games. Its a short and sweet little romp that pays homage to DKC.

This game radiates massive SNES vibes with its soundtrack and simple premise. Reach the end of each stage while platforming off tightropes with a unicycle.

Very surprised at this game's quality. Its a pretty fun puzzle game with a chill OST.

Actual hot fucking garbage, it's a port of a mobile game as well. Very buggy, glitchy, even got a softlock.

Screw Armageddon they were a pain in the US Version lmfao.
Regardless, I love this game. US version's changes are fucky but I really like that you can drain spirit from enemies and bosses.

Solid game, has some tedious moments, but it's an alright time. I really like the dagger teleporting mechanic.
Used to hate this game on GBA, I dunno why, maybe its cause of the movie itself, but its a really solid licensed movie tie-in game all things considered. Quick and breezy game.
