Incredible game. I had played the game before, and this remake just turns what was already there even better! Play this if you want a great story and you're not worried about doing the same thing a couple of times.

While I can't deny this is a classic, with a quality of world design that is very good. The game does show it's age, not in how it looks because the pixel art is incredible and the OST sets the mood perfectly. But when it comes to gameplay, the game leaves quite a lot to be desired, controls are a bit clunky and the physics a bit strange.
Overall enjoyed my time with the game, a clear classic, but one I don't see myself playing again.

A mediocre but enjoyable game. Gameplay can be quite fun and some of the battles are exciting. But the game can get very repetitive and the story is an afterthought at best.
Starfox is a fun addition, but not much more than that.

Despite a very slow start, this expansion goes to incredible places the further it goes along. With, in my opinion, the strongest dungeons and environments yet.

If not for the GAAS mechanics bringing this game down, the game would be an easy 5 for me. The game is beautiful, soundtrack is fantastic and the gameplay is satisfying. The final segment of the game provided me with an incredible online experience that surpasses almost every other.
Unfortunately the F2P stuff coupled with bad performance in some places brings down the experience a bit.
Still heavily recommend the game for it's free segment that is well worth your time.

An incredible game with a great style, music and story. Would be a 5 if I felt the gameplay was tighter, while inovative, gameplay can be a bit mashy.

Incredible job at bringing the series back and to a satisfying conclusion. The way the ending portion rolled out was absolutely inspired in the way it connected everything that came beforehand.
Overall I feel the game could have used with a bit of the amazing pacing the OG had, some parts felt a bit padded, especially the turn back time segments. And the story really wasn't as interesting overall as the one in the 1st game.
Gameplay was a surprise to me, felt it was incredibly fun and really opened up the more characters you have and pins. The beat mechanic was very cool to pull off.

Very glad this series got a chance to come back, this sequel I feel is worthy of the original game.

Interesting game mechanic. But the game is super janky and the story really isn't worth all the frustration the repetition brings.

Was expecting more. This semented that FF XIV isn't for me if I'm looking for a story. This continues to be an MMO at the end of the day, and the padding inbetween good story missions is tiring.
Contains some of the best dungeons though.

I have tried 3 times to complete this game. Just boring and doesn't feel good to play or control unfortunately. The story, despite its interesting premisse, also fumbles in keeping me interested, with big stretches of absolutely nothing happening.

Started well, but as soon as you reach the high level, it transforms into a grind fest, and not a fun one.

Fun to play a couple of rounds. Hope to revisit with my friends.

Crazy how sonic team can fail so miserably after Generations.

Campaign has some fun missions. Wish there were less titan fights in the game and more parkour platforming challenges with enemies.

Really enjoyed the game. But it really doesn't reach the heights of the other souls games in my opinion, more due to gameplay than anything else.
