One of my favorite games of all time. My favorite feature was the weapon evolution tree. My second favorite feature was the adorable town-building Geodama system. My third favorite feature was the roguelike dungeon floors with their interactable hidden treasure rooms. The atmosphere was super well-done and memorable.

Lol, wow. What an absolute shit game that I played hundreds of hours of and completely dominated my life through middle school.

A masterpiece that few know about. I have an ambition to spread this game far and wide in the RPG-loving community.

Note: If you want to play CC singleplayer, this is a great way to do it. Otherwise: Not only is this remake's multiplayer bad: It killed the reputation of Crystal Chronicles, a truly great game that deserved a resurgence and whose popularity would have done immense good for modern ARPG games. Broke my heart.

why the F does this fanfiction garbage exist

I literally wrote a paper for game design class about why the opening hours of this game were so incredibly bad. I will probably never return to it, though maybe on stream to laugh at it.

Had a pretty good time with it on Switch. To be honest, the character building system feels a bit unfinished, and as fun as some quests are there are plenty of duds. But I love the game loop and I'm excited for a modern Dragon's Dogma game.

My first Zelda game, played as a child on the SNES. Perhaps the game that made me a game-liker for life. Also the first great Zelda game, that cemented its legacy as one of the most iconic game series' of all time.

Loved the worldbuilding of the original, but the slow grindy pace of exploration and battle was difficult to overcome, I didn't 'get' the gambit system in the original version, and I didn't get immersed in the plot. Got stuck on the zombie dragon due to poor inventory management and no save to return to. Returned to Zodiac Age as an adult and really enjoying it so far.

Good lord the original Final Fantasy games sucked. Even as remakes! Haha. 2 especially had amazing design ideas, and absolutely bombed the execution, with the most forgettable characters of all time. The one amazing thing about these games is how incredible the music was, with some of the greatest compositions of the entire series that are still used today already present even in these primordial games, like Matoya's Cave.

Had a great time with it in the beginning, then the novelty kinda fell off

Many people complain about the motion controls, but they introduced a puzzle element to combat that was really fun and innovative. I would love to see similar combat elements return in a more sophisticated form in future games. Also Zelda in this game is bae.

My second FF game, and the first FF I actually beat as a kid. Deserves all the praise it gets and none of the criticism. Truly iconic.
