As a Sonic fan since the Gamecube era this has been an incredible return to form for the franchise in over a decade, and it sets a great starting point for the future of the franchise in the years to come.
The world is a bit empty, but for me that makes zooming around at breakneck speeds smoother. The combat was fun and flashy, and the music (as is the case in every other Sonic game) was exemplary.
For real, it’s like the devs played Metal Gear Rising and Asura’s Wrath and said “what if we made something like that” and I love them for it.

Great intro to the spinoff series. Loved the characters, action, minigames, graphics, and just about everything. Some aspects were a bit annoying but overall great game. Also, Kaito GOAT

Digital crack for the brain. Very easy to play for either 5 min on a break or spend hours grinding, but nonetheless a very easy game to get addicted to.
