A weirdly paced slice of life experience. Packs some fun mechanics but has some odd story elements.

A quirky yet forgettable platformer. A good time waster for kids.

An excellent 2D platformer. Levels are fun and full of secrets. Worlds feel diverse and gameplay is responsive. A suite of fun minigames and a brilliant PvP mode offer fun beyond the main game.

A strong DS game. It's got some great extra modes, and has some useful multiplayer options but this entry in the series had a mixed bag of tracks.

Played on the Steam Deck. Valve's charming storytelling can't save this glorified tutorial feel fun or engaging. Focusing on the wrong parts of what makes the Deck cool, the whole experience needs a rethink.

A disappointing expansion that offers the wrong vibes at such a major point in Destiny's story. The new player mechanics are fun but the narrative is confusing and the re-skinned enemies are no fun.

An ok feeling platformer with lots of weird choices made. The level design is a mixed bag but there are some fun mechanics thrown in. Doesn't perform very well on Switch.

An overly complex story with forgettable characters and a grab bag of mechanics make for a boring experience. It's stop start pacing and boring quests leave little to be desired. Combat gets really enjoyable towards the end but you will need to slog through lots of boring bits to get there. Visually good game though.

A short but fun "who done it" murder mystery. Very simple and super repetitive but offers charming visuals. It's set on a train so bonus points because trains are cool.

A great stealth game set in a beautiful city that's hampered by mediocre combat and a story that's bland and too simple.

Charming characters and a grand adventure awaits in this RPG, with a great yet simple story and funny quests as Mario and team get up to all sorts of mischief. Maybe a little too easy, the combat can be a breeze but you'll stay for the good vibes.

An exciting adventure across the Star Wars universe. Combat feels good and the level design is great. Questing is fun and the game has some well made fights. The story is a little forgettable but serves its purpose and brings the whole package together.

P for Pizza - it's a charming Wario-like platformer that offers great gameplay with slapstick humor and funny visuals. Maybe a little short, and hard to control at times, but offers a memorable experience.

A short but sweet adventure set in India. The protagonists have a great dynamic and the script has it's charm. Visually stunning environments and some fun set pieces also offer great gameplay too.

A great fighting game that offers more accessibility than ever before. Fight solo in a semi decent campaign or head to head in multiplayer. The character customiser is fun too.
