Genuinely the most baffled feelings I’ve ever had on a game. Like the first 20 or so hours just dicking around and exploring is fun, then It gets sooo boring and repetitive with only a few high points sprinkled in. After the Wrothiens the story looses all momentum and the finale/ending might be the worst I’ve ever experienced. Genuinely the only thing I know for certain about this game is that it’s the worst in the series.

Hot take: Breath of the Wild was the better experience the first time around. Tears is probably the better game, but compared to his big brother it was hard to measure up. Still absolutely loved the game, getting to step back into hyrule and see all the changes was great. Better dungeons too and I loved ultra hand, even if it’s maybe a bit forced sometimes. Overall still and extremely fun and enjoyable experience.
Very overhated, it doesn’t get the love it deserves. Probably the best story in Zelda and the way they set up Link and Zelda is touching. I wish the sky wasn’t so empty and the ground was such a straight line most of the time, but I actually liked revisiting areas with a twist. Overall excellent game that deserves more praise.
After replaying it I genuinely love this game so much. Went from my least favourite 3D Zelda to way higher up and genuinely enjoyed it sooooo much. Best Map design with interesting set pieces everywhere and fantastic dungeons and characters. It doesn’t feel like any other Zelda games story, it truly weaves it own narrative and I respect that a lot.
