Nice little 探索アクション. Doesn't overstay its welcome, good progression of abilities, just a very good time.

Dedicated meow button.

Hot summer days, wandering a new area and seeing the sights until it’s as familiar as home, making new friends, having adventures, the seeming monotony of the routine before you set out for the day.

There’s magic in the summer haze, and it’s captured here.

Feels great to play and doesn't overstay its welcome

Fantastic presentation, good music, inconsistent collisions and physics, frustrating grappling. At least you don't have to worry about running out of lives?

Nice little game. Wish there were more variety to the combos you could set up and not being so hampered if you get a bunch of Champs that don't work well together.

Difficulty curve is about perfect, very approachable while still maintaining a degree of challenge.

Absurd difficulty curve and incredibly punishing if you're not using the Z/ZX Collection's checkpoints. Feels great to play and I'm looking forward to what comes next.

Incredibly charming little game.

Gameplay was a bit slow in some parts as there’s some back and forth with forced walking while you solve puzzles but no sequences really lasted too long.

I’m in for the next chapter of Jenny’s adventures.

This owns. Mystery dungeon goes first person mecha shooter. Dragged down a little by muddy movement but nothing that can’t be worked around.

An absolute mess of a game. One to experience to comprehend just how bad it is.

Nothing sucks all the tension out of dramatic moments quite like wearing a hyokotto mask.

Solid writing, good humor, and a good mystery to solve.

I was on board for 90% of the game then the "true" path "twist" kinda killed it for me.

So much of the game seemed to be about avoiding dealing with grief and had some very touching moments that resulted from this.

*big spoilers below****

The reveal of Omori/Sunny having accidentally killed his sister and staging it to be taken as a suicide felt like it came out of left field and lessened a lot of the impact of previous moments. He went from a sympathetic character struggling to deal with the loss of a loved one to quite the opposite. The final resolution was very good, but how they got there just didn't land for me.

Overall I still really liked the game, combat is fun, the emotion system is neat to play with, the art and music are great, and the bulk of the experience is very enjoyable.

May come back at a later date and go for a different route and see if I like that better.
