gen urobuchi is one twisted demented psychotic motherfucker

its a masterpiece that deserves a 5 but i still wish i could give it an extra star purely for the section where mario and luigi jump into a boat and play a tiny shmup at bowsers prostate (which makes him grow to a massive size as a result)

the "Pleb Filter" of the kirby series. many people who try to play this game will end up feeling crushed by its enjoyable atmosphere and give up on it for being "too easy", if you are fortunate enough to be able to appreciate the games truly extreme ease of play, you will find that this is a very fun entry in the kirby series that includes many things we all know and love (yarn, felt, etc.)

This game made me feel like a genius when I was in middle school. I was playing a videogame but was also like, actually reading and like using logic and stuff at the same time. It felt like I found some fucked up loophole in life that let me both read books and play videogames at once.

my 10 year-old self named my corgi "Chaos"

You won't find adobe here in Nairobi.

The single most unhinged game in existence, Wario World is pure hedonism. I am genuinely convinced that Wario himself developed this game as a power fantasy. there is no real danger from enemies it is just pure frantic treasure hunting. Amazing game

This is also the only game I have ever 100% completed

One of the video games of all time

I revisited this expecting it to be far more dated and unplayable than 8 year old me remembered, and left with 120 stars and an apology for ever doubting my man Mario

is this game good? no. are the characters good? no. is the writing good? no. did i finish it in 2 days because i couldnt stop playing it? .........

I read on Kotaku that, with the Brave New World expansion pack, this game is pretty good.

this is the game for people who enjoy pressing the A button and sometimes the B button as well

i absolutely should not still have this and colosseum rated so high but these games have some sort of transcendent magic to them that brings me back to being 8 years old. maybe its the built-in "steal trainer's pokemon" action replay code. maybe its all the goofy npc names. maybe its the incredible 50 second loops that permeate this ost. i have played this and its predecessor more times than i can count
