I finished this in a day. I took a break half way through to watch a film (loving vincent, very good but this isn’t letterboxd) so i wouldn’t feel too bad playing a game for six hours straight.
This was a wonderful experience. I laughed, smiled, cried and just had a great time. Exploring was interesting, i loved the characters, the story was short and sweet, the atmosphere it has is great and they did a great job at making the cat really feel like a cat.

If you’ve ever played ridge racer and thought “man this needs more initial d and look like auto modellista” then here’s the game!
I’m… conflicted about inertrial drift. There’s only 5 tracks in the base, which can be fine! but it weirdly felt like a chore to play each track around 3 times to get to the next one. Again, there’s only 5 tracks so it shouldn’t be a huge problem, but when i’d finish a time trial and then move on to a ghost race I’d think “this just feels like I’m doing the same thing but with a different name”
i had an alright time with this, i’ve only finished one story mode (didn’t 100% because i’m not going to get gold in every event, I got like 86%) and i don’t see myself going back to complete the others. Maybeee some time in the future when i’m desperate for something quick to play
I’d recommend checking it out anyway, I got it while it was on sale a while back and that felt right

okay this game is so fun to play and quite addicting. You keep telling yourself “no no i can do better than that, i can shave off a second or two, let’s try again” and next thing you know, 15 hours has passed.
Story, characters and dialogue are whatever. It’s very anime-y and doesn’t take things too seriously but that’s alright it you don’t go in expecting anything more than that.
Violet sings My chemical romance during karaoke and White goes to watch The matrix in the cinema. Amazing.
THE SOUNDTRACK IS BY MACHINE GIRL. FUCK YEAAAAA it slaps

the only reason i finished this was because my ex wanted a turn, and ended up playing for hours and finishing it for me. He’s also a perverted weeb so take that as a review if you want.

My uncle had set up his xbox 360 in the living room, dumped a bunch of games on the floor and told me i could play anything to keep myself occupied, and he then went back upstairs to play Oblivion without being interrupted. This was probably my first time playing a 18 rated game. Mum walked in… and proceeded to sit down to watch me play. This is the day i realised games could be so much more, i also became insufferable
Anyway; when i turned 18 like 8 years later, i got the chains tattooed on my wrists.
It’s claustrophobic, it’s scary, the story is great, the weapons are satisfying to use, the plasmids are cool and exciting… One thing i’ll say though, is that the game gets a tad repetitive when you play it so many times :^)
