Played through it a second time thanks to PS+!

A satisfying and sweet game, it’s quick to get through but even then I found it to become quite tedious, and I found myself getting quite bored. Worth a try but I realised that it wasn’t for me! I only wanted to play it again because the first time I played it was using game pass streaming browser thingie on my iphone, and thought maybeee playing it on my TV on the PS5 would be more comfortable. Maybe it would have felt less tedious if i didn’t play it in one sitting…

According to my PS5, I am 34 hours into this.

I kept forcing myself to play it, see if anything would get it to click with me but at this point I may need to admit to myself that ff16 isn’t for me, and honestly? I have no idea why. Maybe it’s the game of thrones influence, the fact that everything feels quite dull outside of the flashy eikon battles, the fact i don’t reallyyyy care about the characters…

I excitedly preordered this game, one of the main reasons i wanted a ps5 was for ff16, i love final fantasy even 15. the demo they released of ff16 solidified my opinion that preordering was a great idea and yet the full game, the rest of it… i just… don’t get?

very sad and frustrated, and i expected to like it after watching all the trailers and stuff leading up to release :(

i MIGHT get myself to play through more of it at some point, only because I’m genuinely kicking myself for not liking it. It wasn’t exactly cheap to buy with my current situation, so i should at least finish it.

If you’ve ever played ridge racer and thought “man this needs more initial d and look like auto modellista” then here’s the game!

I’m… conflicted about inertrial drift. There’s only 5 tracks in the base, which can be fine! but it weirdly felt like a chore to play each track around 3 times to get to the next one. Again, there’s only 5 tracks so it shouldn’t be a huge problem, but when i’d finish a time trial and then move on to a ghost race I’d think “this just feels like I’m doing the same thing but with a different name”

i had an alright time with this, i’ve only finished one story mode (didn’t 100% because i’m not going to get gold in every event, I got like 86%) and i don’t see myself going back to complete the others. Maybeee some time in the future when i’m desperate for something quick to play

I’d recommend checking it out anyway, I got it while it was on sale a while back and that felt right

I refused to play fortnite for years, i just wasn’t interested in the building mechanic and idk maybe i thought not playing it would make me cooler

anyway, i get to play as a xenomorph with a skateboard emote and a cacodemon glider, as car seat headrest plays on the car radio WITHOUT having to build stuff

i don’t think i’ve ever laughed so much and had as much fun playing a game online with friends before

yo this album comes with a free game????

great game, looks flashy as hell, movement is fluid, combat is satisfying when you chain together moves and perfect platforming. gets very difficult though.
