other than the RNG which feels excessive at the best of times this is my favourite game at the moment

the core game mechanics and ideas are sound but unfortunately they are wasted on developers who seem to be determined to make the least consumer friendly choices possible?? still one of my favourite games unfortunately

somehow the terrible meta never bothered me much upon release but these days splatoon 3 is just more fun mechanically to play. fun game though even if you’d need to put a gun to my head to make me return to it

literally can’t even log in without it taking half a fucking hour on the switch and it’s not even worth all that once you’re actually in the game

wish i could erase this game from my memory so i could go back to it without getting bored within five minutes but i did get over 600 hours on it beforehand

not entirely sure why this couldn’t just be DLC but it was cute if not a bit short

removing the one mechanic (time skipping) that makes animal crossing playable for jobless people (me) is such a joke. why are the developers more worried about the graphics than making the game playable

this is what happens when you only care about looking cute and not having actual substance. i should be able to get more than 200 hours out of a sandbox game man

give us tomodachi life electric boogaloo (and put gay people in it)

the main story is fun but after a while it feels like there’s nothing much to do unfortunately (switch port adds a lot of fun stuff but i never got around to it because the base game put me to sleep)

objectively poorly balanced with rubber banding mechanics that will destroy your hopes and dreams of ever coming in first. that being said i love it so much

feels like people don’t appreciate this enough but for reasons that are entirely fair

i think im too wii-pilled because i did not understand how the game mechanics work

just didn’t like it very much

definitely worth sinking time into if you’re interested in a higher skill ceiling. i didn’t personally find the microtransactions very intrusive but introducing them AFTER the game already got glowing reviews feels cartoonishly greedy
