absolutely amazing from a technical and gameplay standpoint, but i was left a bit disappointed. it definitely didn't hit as hard as the first game for me.
although combat still being super fun and traversal better than ever, same can't be said about the narrative. the story isn't even that bad but it's characters are. and the writing too. i swear i couln't care about any of those people and havind peter and miles be this souless, devoid of any charisma ain't right. and why tf did MJ have to become a super soldier like... that's not what makes her a strong character.
insomniac are great, but as we could also notice in the ratchet game, their writing and world building simply is not interesting enough to make me that invested on their stories.

finally a good season!! new support hero, new maps + a new game mode is a nice change of pace, with the awaited PvE content dropping at last, even if underwhelmingly. thought hero mastery to be an interesting addition, hope they can expand on it
despite that i'm not very optimistic about the future of this game, the potential was there man... nice one blizz

What can I say? It's more RE4R and more ada wong, it really can't go wrong ;)
this truly feels like an expansion to the main game with a couple of new gimmicks, more luis, saddler, wesker and some important content that was cut from the main campaign to be specially used in ada's story, respecting her character in giving this dlc way more meaning than before.
capcom's glory age of resident evil continues, give me RE5 REMAKE ASAP

Freelancer is an absolute GEM. The fact that IOI were able to make an excellent roguelike using almost all locations from the WoA trilogy is insane, it has no right being this good and it's only a MODE, not a full game.
Having this trilogy unified as a single package was a very smart decision. It feels like the developpers had a vision and were absolutely successful in implementing it. what a treat BRING ME JAMES BOND

Overall a good remake. It's unfortunate that apart from a very basic parry mechanic and a few new abilities it doesn't bring anything new to the table following Fusion and Zero Mission, and the variety is lacking... especially for a 2017 release, the same year a game called Hollow Knight came out with over 100 unique kinds of enemies.
Super Metroid aside, I've got the impression that 2D Metroid games always manage to be good, but never really great.

the first oxenfree left such an impression on me that it was impossible to not want the same from this sequel, and even though the story and characters are good enough, i didn't get that.
lost signals missed that slasher kind of charm, mystery and spookiness. i found the history to be a bit repetitive and disappointing by the end, and didn't really care about the new characters that much.
it's also difficult to review this game by having completed only one playthrough, given the nature of multiple endings, i feel there's so much still that i missed, but for now i'm pretty mixed about it.
