meh, that starwatch mode was fun i guess

well i guess it's time i finally wrote a review for this "game" but tbf i don't really have the energy lmao

it's still overwatch, it's not a sequel. the whole argument about this deserving the number 2 in the title was it's PVE content, but it looks like they're scrapping a good portion of it. oh well.

it's sad how this IP has been mismanaged because it truly was one of the best multiplayer games of recent times at some point. i was never a fan of the changes going to a free2play model, the price of these skins is such bullshit, i miss when i could earn cool things by just playing the game. now you just earn an epic skin and have to grind coins like crazy by completing weekly challenges to be able to buy anything worthwhile.

i have to say that season 6 looks interesting, at least we have that to look forward to. gg ez

loved the creepy atmosphere. it's a shame how short it is, and i would've liked to have had a feeling for the combat but... who am i kidding, i'm excited about this since the day itwas announced lmao

jodie comer let me run to uuu

spent the entirety of my sunday playing this and had to rush the main story a little bit by the end to be able to complete it before leaving game pass but it was fun! some of these snacks kinda cute kinda evil, straight up

kkb's magnum opus

A MASTERPIECE, AGAIN. capcom really became the kings of remakes. i don't know how they did it, but i like this version better than the original. it improves in so many aspects of it, keeping what made RE4 so special back in 2005. they're still different games, if you appreciate the b movie campyness and over the top nature of the original, it's still there for you.
this one is more serious in tone, and the horror works better for it, yet finds a perfect balance between scary and goofy. leon's personality is perfect here, imo. ashley is less annoying (her relationship with leon is actually cute this time), ada is ada (very sexy), luis is as sexy as ever, KRAUSER is a ridiculous extravagant bad guy i fecking love him, and the other villains (specially saddler and salazar) are WAY scarier and more intone of what they should be. hunnigan is cute and funny af, anyone knows if she's seeing someone? asking for a friend.

in all seriousness, i kept laughing and giggling the entire time while playing this. i'm so happy. i feel like what it must've felt playing RE4 back in the day. and that mid credits scene got me so hyped omggggg
BRING RE5 REMAKE, TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY YOU BASTARDSSHDSD

this game surprised me a lot. it doesn't have the most complex story, no big twists or mysteries, but the lower scale of the plot works in it's favor. it's an intimate story, an emotional rolercoaster with a simple but gut wrenching conclusion. the gameplay gets surprisingly creative at times and i really appreciated that, however the choices you make don't seem to have much impact in how things turn out.

alex and steph are easily the most likeable characters in the entire franchise, i want what they have <3

i don't usually drop games, let alone one this short, but damn this shit boring af. the promise of it being a detective game with a beautiful art style really fooled me.. it's barely a game you just click stuff and do google searches lmao

it's also got one of the least engaging writings and voice acting that i've ever seen. hard pass

superhero games are often difficult to make thus all the praise this one received is well deserved. it doesn't do anything amazing but it's interesting enough and captures the essence of the guardians so well. story is fine and surprisingly emotional at times, i had one of those moments when you drop the controller and just think about what's happening, but i would have loved for some more gameplay variety in later chapters, it gets pretty repetitive.

you can fuck mercy in this game fr

hope they add moira and echo next

thank you sam barlow for being one of the most creative minds in the gaming industry and delivering this unique experience. i don't want to tell much about the game because i think this is one of those cases you should really try it for yourself.

people complaining about a "lack of gameplay" are one of the reasons why this medium innovates so little these days

i still have to get back to her story and "finish" it, but for the couple of hours i spent with that game i can say that it looked way more interesting.

the presentation of telling lies is a lot less eerie, less mysterious. every video footage you watch is a conversation between two characters, the interface is very slick and modern compared to the vintage looks of her story's old computer, and your character is present at all times on screen, giving a certain sense of confort (sometimes she even interacts with her cat, for example).

the performances are really good and the writing is on point as expected, but i simply wasnt hooked enough even though i spent six to seven hours reviewing aproximately three quarters of footage. played kind of rushing before it leaves game pass, i dont really know if there's a true ending or various endings depending on what you find, but i just don't felt it being something very satisfying to be honest.

hated the flashlight mechanic but every single thing that this games does well, it does SUPER well. the spooky atmosphere is so effective. games with abstract storytelling rule.

that ending 👀
