Bomberman had a weird time on the 64. Would have loved to see this IP keep the platformer adjacent lane open.

This was one of my faves back in the day and hoo boy it does NOT hold up!

Looks and feels great - my first time playing after having this on my WL since it initially came out. Essentially what I expected conceptually, but takes it way farther than I imagined.

Phenomenal narrator!

A nice little game - i'm stuck on a puzzle right now that just has some sticky timing but should be about the end of the game.

This game is boring. The gameplay is great and fun, but everything about the game and multiplayer is boring.

I loved the OG prequel games when I was in high school playing couch co-op...this is basically a chore to play.

It looks great and I want to get my kid playing with me so it is what it is.

Grind nonsense. Looks like absolute shit. I spent quite a while with it and this is my first SMT title, but it's really hard to put down and pick back up...because it looks and plays so terribly.

This game is great. I played it on Jedi Knight, which is how I'd recommend anyone play. I first played on Master on PS4 but bounced off immediately - not because of the combat difficulty but the mismatch of combat and the speed of exploration.

This game does both parry-intensive/strategic combat and 3D metroidvania map design/exploration very well, but the two feel incongruous. The only specific combat complaint I have is that it never really outright says that you have to just bash the hell out of everything and that's it. Not in a negative way, but breaking an enemy's guard is the only "weakness" outside of perfect parry. It would be nice if it felt more like there was a beneficial approach to each weapon type, but at the same time I do appreciate how stripped down the combat ultimately is.

The other great thing about the combat and game design is that you don't level up. You get more abilities, but you don't get incrementally more powerful. It fits the story/universe.

I look forward to the next game in the series, but hope they lean a little more into level exploration and environment variety plus some cleaned up AI.

I got one of the 4 horses of the apocalypse the first time I played, then I lost it so I never played again.

This was pretty fun, but I remember feeling like I was being tricked more than I really was. The facial indicators were a lot more literal/immediate than I expected with less leading, but for the time it was pretty cool!

2011

I loved this game and then it just ended. The combat was really fun and the razor boomerangs were pretty chef's kiss

I couldn't beat this because of the motion controls. Wii stunk!

I got pretty far along in this but the controls were a little rough for the size of my hands
