i really loved this game, but i feel as though it could have been done a lot better. fall damage is kind of annoying and the linear sections of the game are less fun than the open world sections. but the gameplay and the story are what really make this game shine. not my favorite metro game, but probably the most impressive.

fantastic shooter. higher difficulties without the ui are exciting and frustrating at the same time, but nothing about this game is mediocre. the story, setting, gameplay, and music are all fantastic.

a game that looks better than it plays. it has a relatively cool setting and story, but the game itself is super forgettable.

this game plays like a railroaded arcade game, with a story that tries to act serious but in actuality plays like a marvel comic.

if this game had pvp multiplayer, it would be my favorite halo game ever. regardless, the story rocks, music rocks, firefight ROCKS, and the combat feels fantastic.

this game gets a lot of praise for good reason. sure, the source engine is atrocious for an rpg, sure some of the cutscenes look unfinished, sure certain gameplay mechanics are useless. but everything about this game oozes personality, charm, and keeps you coming back to playing it. the characters, the story, the MUSIC, theyre all in top form. fantastic game.

if you like dead island, i think youll like this game. i personally dont really enjoy the dead island gameplay loop, so this game feels very meh to me. if you play this, please dont get any of the weapons dlc though, it fucks the balance so hard.

i think halo 2 is a good game. its one that i didn't play in its heyday, but the story and the gameplay still hold up extremely well 18 years later. plus, the influence it had on the creation of xbox live alone deserves praise.

black ops 2 is a game i wish i liked less. the zombies mode is a mixed bag, sure, but the multiplayer and campaign are easily my favorite out of all the black ops games.

black ops is a game that i wish i liked more. the campaign has so many great moments that its hard not to like it, and the zombies mode was definitely very very good, but i personally could never get into the multiplayer or any zombies map released as dlc.

night in the woods has so much charm, so much emotion, and so much personality that it's impossible not to love it. amazing game with an ending that will make you sob.

dont look at my score, i'm just biased to this game. in terms of a halo game, this is probably the point at which the franchise started to go downhill. armor abilities, bloom, and a lack of focus on pro gamers definitely led to this game being panned over time. but everything else is just done perfectly. graphically, this game looks incredible, even in 2022 with all the advancements in tech. its forge mode is my second favorite iteration in the whole series (halo 5 barely beats it), and i sunk thousands upon thousands of hours into it as a teen, playing custom games and building maps just for myself. ill always credit halo reach with being the game that made me love games.

the anxiety of playing this game is something no horror game could ever hope to compete with.

this game feels so fun to play. there's no real story, no real narrative, but the game doesn't need that. it's fun, its exciting, and its a great change from the typical high octane fast paced fps games that are coming out now.

the best battle royale game, but still a battle royale game.
