An all time classic. This is Sonic fully established. I've beaten it a hundred times, but recently I stop after Mystic Cave or Oil Ocean. I just don't care for the later levels and this game's version half-pipe is just a way worse special stage than any other in the series, so I don't go for Super Sonic typically

Mandatory if you care at all about game history. The best level design in the series. Play the ROM or Sonic 3 AIR.

Even the bad shit is really just dumb fun in disguise. Overhated by the average younger Sonic fan and the average older Sonic fan, even though the gaming mainstream considers Adventure 2 a bonafide classic for the Dreamcast and Gamecube.
