Almost 10 hours playing so far. Don't listen to the fools who are giving this game a bad rating! Here are the straight facts from someone who actually knows about computers and a long time gamer:

1. This game relies on CPU more than your usual game. That is why many PC players who have beefy GPUs still have bad performance. Bad performance is mainly in cities, which are CPU intensive.

2. I have both a near top of the line CPU and GPU and the game still has some performance issues but like I said it's mainly in large cities. Peformance fixes are definitely needed but overall the game is not as bad as people say!
I easily get 90-110 fps outside cities, all max settings and 4k resolution, on a 4080 and Ryzen 9 7900X.

3. Yes, there are microtransactions BUT they aren't pay2win. Half of them are cosmetic, the other are extra crystals to rent high level pawns. It's a single player game, who cares! If someone wants to waste money on getting Power Leveled by pawns, it doesn't matter on single player games!

4. 10 hours in and I've had ZERO crashes even with a few mods enabled. Reported crashes are a small vocal minority (happens with any game on release nowadays sadly) and not the norm for most DD2 players. Update your drivers and Windows!

The game is better than the first Dragon's Dogma, and the pawns are much better; less talking, more "real", more of a bro than a mindless parrot. This game is what Skyrim really should have been.

OpenCritic has this game at an 89/100 average. If the supposed issues were as bad as people say, it wouldn't be getting high praise!

Fun shmup. Forgettable, rushed story as expected from a shmup. I like the idea of absorbing attacks and retaliating using the stored power. Rather short game, but the first play-through ending does give you a reason to replay immediately.

Completely forgettable story, but great fun sci-fi mech combat. Missions are generally easy and take less than 30 minutes each.
Very good part mix-match possibilities, you can anything between a tank with a huge rail gun to a fast flyng quick shot.

Incredible customizability of mechs, not just paint and decals of individual parts but also upload or create your own!

I do take half a star off for having to repeat the game three times just to get the full story (which again is bland).

Excellent Game. Wonderful voice acting, great animations and art style, actually funny jokes, and fun story.

Cool dungeon crawler. Abandoned because it's not my type of game, but I can definitely see it as a fun and interesting game for those who like that genre.

Generic shounen anime (think Demon Slayer or Naruto) theme on top of a not-as-polished souls-like experience. Forgetable story.

Excellent character creator, too bad any immersion or cool factor is brought down by plenty of clipping. It's somewhat moddable which is cool.

If you like anime and dark souls, you'll like this, but honestly it shouldn't be a priority on your list.

You'll read the same thing from other reviewers here, it's tough to finish this game unless you are a super die hard Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy fan. Look at HowLongToBeat, it says almost 18 hours...I'll tell you right now it's not because it's actually a long game with lots to do and explore.

The story is bland and forgettable. There's some visual glitchyness here and there. It's increasingly difficult to put up with the constant talking of characters (along with the Marvel quips) as the game progresses. If you play this for the action, the talking will get cut or queue up in a way that it's said much later after something happens. The game expects you to go at their slow pace so the characters can finish everything they have to say, before you move forward.

Combat is surprisingly good, and even on Normal is challenging enough.

Looking at the rating and reviews on Backloggd you would think this is a bad game, but it's actually not! It's just not a game for zoomers wanting to win with a few clicks. Instead, it's a game for those who enjoy OG sim games such as the classic SimCity and SimTower. You need to really think and plan to do well in this game, even on Easy.

Project Highrise is great, similar but not exactly like SimTower and Yoot Tower. Project Highrise focuses more on the management part, akin to SimCity 2000. Very fun, challenging, and it natively supports mods! There's a few minor complaints about QOL improvements should be made, but nothing huge to really keep you from enjoying the game if you play enough.

- Forgettable story
- Visually buggy at times
- Subtitles aren't synced well
- Dialogue sounds rushed in the beginning of the game, and in general not that interesting
- Good replayability by having the option to choose between the two main characters which different powers
- Visuals are not bad

Decent game overall.

Great game in the beginning that brought immense popularity to the FPS "battle royale" genre. Unfortunately ruined by hackers.

Fantastic atmosphere. Actually scary, mainly relying on atmosphere and horror rather than jumpscares. Excellent graphics.

I'm not into Visual Novels, but this one caught my eye because the cyberpunk theme and I find bartending very interesting.
- Most of the characters are complex, there's no one you can 100% like or dislike, which is true to life. Some you can like more than others but they have their flaws, and the ones you dislike aren't completely wrong in what they say or the way they act.
- The visuals are great, and the feeling overall is definitely of cyberpunk.
- The bartending is simple but a good twist to being just a VN, and there are times were you actually should have paid attention to what each character prefers to drink.
- Not all loose ends are tied, although the main ones are, which makes for good realism and adds to the liveliness of the city.
- There are hundreds of references in this game, some related to pop culture. The funny ones are done well without being cringe. Most of them are made in a subtle way so that you get them if you know but if you don't then nothing is really lost.

The VN is very reminiscent of how things used to be in games and movies before everything was dumbed down for the masses. Not everything was explained, you had to pay attention, the viewer was a fly on the wall coming into the middle of a story, and either you got a reference or you didnt.

Good ol' Ratchet and Clank game. Beautiful graphics. Fun minigames to change things up every so often. Fun character personalities and great animations.
Weapons aren't as interesting as previous games in the series. Meh plot.

Graphics have aged like milk, but out of the non-isometric FO games, this one is still the best. It's a survival RPG as it should be. Choices matter.
