I've had Puyo Tetris on my eye since I caught wind of the game with the Switch launch lineup and this fusion of both Puyo Puyo and Tetris came out a lot better than I expected! The new gameplay modes that fuse both games are really fun to go through and while I did find using my Tetris soul towards destroying CPU players, I did get better at Puyo in the process too! Big recommend for Tetris and Puyo Puyo people all around, experienced and unfamiliar.

For a quick startup, yes I modded this game. I took a dive into the game unmodded for about 5 minutes and I was already met with glitches and awkward. I used the SA Mod Manager and it's pre-built in mods to fix most of the issues I had with the gameplay and to make the game lineup closer to the original Dreamcast version; ended up being a very nice decision because the mods really do make the game better! I had a more fun time compared to my first run on the original Dreamcast version so that's very nice. If you aim to try this out, I can only fully recommend it if you install mods to the game. Otherwise, it's a fine but butchered port.

Short but rather fun experience! This is probably the best Mr. Driller game out of all the other ones I've experienced in the series. The gameplay styles vary out and the replayability shows out! Music is also really good along with the soft art style. In terms of the quality of the remaster, it's a vast improvement over the original!
Recommend from me!

Over the near hundreds of Tetris games I've played, playing Tetris Effect genuinely makes the 40 year old game feel like brand new. Genuinely one of the best single-player focused Tetris games I've ever played. Straight from the new game mechanics to the soul-ascending aesthetics, it's a beautiful delight and beautiful refresh to Tetris. Absolute must get for new and old Tetris fans.

Finally got around finishing it after knowing it for a few several years already, an underrated Sega classic! I really liked going through this one especially within the later stages. Ristar is fun to control and his moves make exploring the stages really exciting. The bosses also prove to be quite a challenge, along with super quality Genesis/Mega Drive graphics and a banging soundtrack! Big recommend to try out.

Probably one of the smoothest and most fun indie games I've played in a good while; it's like a synthetic blend of Pac-Man and platforming. It explores a bunch of unique concepts while retaining the classic Namco arcade feel to the point where it genuinely feels like something that'd come out of Namco themselves. High recommend if you're looking for a Namco-inspired experience!

I keep forgetting how much I genuinely love Pac-Man CE DX. One of the best and smoothest modern arcade-based experiences.
All time favorite Pac-Man game alongside Pac-Man Arrangement '96.

Despite the massively unoptimized storage requirements, it's a good port of Pac-Man.

I talk about Klonoa a lot but yet I haven't played the games at all; I've fixed that just now! Amazing aesthetics, challenging gameplay, beautiful soundtrack and feel all around, one of the best 2D platformers I've played recently. Give this little boy a Wahoo to play through!

Got this little game straight from the dev himself; it's a super short but charming one! This is a kind of game that mixes simple platform puzzles and PaRappa style game
Sure, you probably see already that the art isn't professional, but it does excel in the story and characters, which is surprising to me. Music is pretty decent too, and it has both chiptune and MIDI styles! If you're looking to support a small indie, give Ryan's game a try!

It’s the odd one for not being the Konami-developed one, but despite the odd visual choices here, I do like the game!
While it’s not directly on par with the original 16-bit trilogy, it does have a fair amount of sharing aspects that make it a solid platformer to enjoy. Sparkster still controls well, and his new moves rock too. The level designs are okie too, and some mechanics feel balanced out enough for me to stay unique and almost never outstay their welcome.
I will say I’m not really a fan of the design style used in this game since it feels weird-ish after being with the original 2D art styles for so long, so this 3D transition is odd-ish. Some aspects of the soundtrack are great but they don’t feel as memorable to me in comparsion to the 16-bit trilogy. This is just me but there’s also some aged design aspects like the limited continues system being present and fewer boss battles than the past games. Aside from those, it’s a good enough one but I feel like I enjoyed the 16-bit games more.

Coming from playing over 100+ battle royale matches and 3-starring every level in the Adventure mode, I honestly think this is a really good Pac-Man game! Game flow in the regular game mode feels super well and it proves well for those fully understand Pac-Man's regular game mechanics. I've played over 100+ matches of the regular Battle Arena game mode (at the second Crystal rank) and the gameplay style feels well to play through; short and sweet and it's fun to push other players to their doom. The Adventure mode was also surprisingly nice too, somehow had more variety in goals than any other Pac-Man maze game I've played to date, though I did take breaks in-between.
The visual style is a very odd choice but I will say it's a lot better in motion; the animation quality is super good and the way how the Pac-Man and ghosts react to each other when they get near is cute; general movement for the characters is super smooth and fluid, probably even more than Pac-Man Party. Love the ability to customize your character as well.
A few iffs I have are the way unlockables are presented; you lose your season unlockables after every day and you have to grind to unlock them again, so it really makes unlocking the things pretty pointless. Another thing I do wish the game did was put more of the advanced features from the Quick Play mode into the Battle Arena mode, since the game with just the regular maze features gets stale a bit after a lot of gameplay. A shame this one's an Apple Arcade exclusive because this one is pretty fun.

Incredibly shocked over the game's quality being somewhat superior to the most recent Sonic Team games. Game flow, level design, animations (like how do they do it even better than Sonic Team), music and replayability are all highlights here. A few things I'm critical about personally is the short length, stiff turning for the characters, Knuckles/Rouge gameplay (specifically them feeling much heavier than they usually do) and Rouge's voice acting (like how the fuck did they mess it up that bad). Other from those, the quality for this game is extremely surprising for an iOS game. Recommend playing this game with a game controller for the best experience.
Shame that it's an Apple Arcade exclusive, but if you ever get a subscription or use your trial, this game is a must play for the service.

Please Sega give Sonic Team more development budget or allow Hardlight to assist development in the next game. And I pray for this game to get ported to consoles in the future.

Pretty fun shoot 'em up with a banging soundtrack! I did find it a bit hard to control at times but was good overall. ended up using cheats in this game since I'm not a real gamer™️
