This game is.....weird?
This one randomly turned into a platformer with tons of beat em' up parts and has a weird subliminal atmosphere in the game's theme. The platforming bits were actually pretty good but I was moreso really annoyed by the repetitive combat and beat em' up areas of the game because it showed up wayyyyy too much than I expected. The music feeling empty, subliminal and different from the usual Pac-Man fare felt weird, but enjoyable personally? That also went to the visuals, that felt like it came from a completely different game. The writing and dialouge however, that takes the gold in this thing! The jokes and potrayal of Pac-Man and the Ghosts got me laughing a few times, alongside their voices being good! Though overall, a mediocre-ish experience personally. Hard to recommend unless you're a real Pac-Maniac sucker or you wanna enjoy the visuals and dialouge.

Finished the main game without collecting all character cards and fruit.

Specifically played the PC remastered version, but this game was a lot better and fun to play than I initially expected! Some awkward collision moments and distance rendering moments but everything else was great! The feel of the game, music, gameplay, and the controls felt great! The story touched me a bit too in some way, surprisingly.

I've been playing this game for at least 10 years already, but it took me until now to finally finish the game's Challenge mode. best puzzle game to ever exist the twisted version

Pretty solid Pac-Man maze game! The maze concepts, gameplay, visuals and the surprisingly great music were highlights of this game for me, though I'm not a fan of the required backtracking around the end of the game and the strict difficulty of the time trial levels. It does get repetitive during long playthroughs occasionally. But overall, a neat game for it's time.
Finished 72% and 54 stars collected.

Greatest puzzle game to exist; the third coming on mobile

to think an april fools joke would get me into visual novels

For an April Fools joke, this is surprisingly well done! To think Sonic would be the one to get me into visual novels in general is.......a bit surprising? (i mean eggman got me into chainsaw man late last year) The art is gorgeous and the writing is surprisingly stellar as well! On top of the pretty good ring collecting mini-game and references to the 2000s era games, they put a lot of effort into this joke and I enjoyed it greatly.
and it only took them sonic's ascension to get me into a new genre of games

Pac-Man World 2 definitely feels like it's trying to be more ambitious in it's level structure in comparsion to the first game. The themes, music and aesthetics of this game were generally great! Though it's not without it's faults though. I had a difficult time trying to get every item because of the absurd level design in the later worlds and had trouble getting through some levels because of the stiff camera. Other than that, it was a solid platformer!
PROS:
- Great aesthetics
- Neat music
- Pac-Man feels even greater to control
- The extra games are a neat thing too
- Neat level designs for some

CONS:
- Absurd difficulty spike after the third (Lava) area
- Difficult level design especially for items in order to get 100% completion in a level
- Stiff camera and camera controls
- The requirements for unlocking Ms. Pac-Man

What an intersting Pac-Man collection if I have to say so myself! I was lucky enough to win this game from Pac-Man himself (from the official Pac-Man Instagram). It's a solid collection with great games, but with noticeable flaws.

PROS
- First of all, the selection of games is pretty good overall! It has all the games of the original base Pac-Man Museum, which I really enjoyed.
- My personal favorites from the collection are Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac-Land, Pac-Man Arrangement '96 (Arcade), Pac-Man Championship Edition and Pac-Man 256.
- Though they're not my favorites, I did enjoy Pac-Man Arrangement '05 and Pac-Motos as well.
- Pac-Man Arrangement '96 finally has the correct audio pitch! Previous releases from the early 2000s Namco Museum game made the OST from the game very high pitched, and it felt awkward in comparsion to the regular pitch. I also adored what they did to restore the credits and created their own loop to the game's attract mode from Classic Collection.
- I also really enjoyed the customizable arcade aspect of the game! My arcade went through 4 major revisions throughout my playthrough, and I loved being able to see other Pac-Man characters wandering around the arcade, as well as being able to listen to music from the games while at the main screen.
- I really liked the idea of missions! There are some missions I don't like doing but they give me more of a sense of completion whenever I complete them.

Now there's sadly issues I have with the collection.
CONS:
- Emulation is rather sub-par: Alongside notable forced bilinear filters, incorrect display ratios/no pixel perfect modes, there's noticeable input delay and there's this awkward sound emulation error that occurs during all the classic arcade games. In addition to that, there's this heavy audio splice thing which shows up if you play for an extensive period of time. Going to the system menu and resuming the game fixes it, but it shames me that they didn't bother to fix it despite having several updates. The video options are also rather lackluster in comparison to previous compilations, and the CRT filter is pretty barebones, most especially in Pac-Land.
- The lack of game options for the classic arcade games in this collection really bothered me honestly, considering how previous collections always had these customizable options.
- Some of the games are based on their Japanese counterparts, most notably Pac-Mania and Pac-In-Time. While I understand some of the changes, I've been rather iffy with the choice to use Pac-In-Time's Japanese version internationally, considering how the US version is already there and with the Japanese version being considerably harder and more painful to play through.
- Like Arcade Archives Pac-Land, Ms. Pac-Man's near-complete erasure from all the games is what bothered me the most about this collection. It baffles me that they went to completely censor Ms. Pac out of all the games where she appears, and it's a huge shame that AtGames and Bandai Namco are unwilling to cooperate to bring her back from this legal jumbo.
- Some of the missions, most especially the excessive coin grinding required for Pac-Man 256.
- This collection generated my dislike for Pac-In-Time.
- This is just a personal thing but I really wish there was online play for any of the games, wish being able to play Pac-Man games with multiplayer was easier.
- I ALSO really wish there were more surprise picks for Pac-Man titles like Pac-Man Championship Edition DX and Pac-Man Adventures in Time (latter will probably NEVER happen), but hey maybe in the next collection

Overall a neat collection! Most of my problems mainly consist of the emulation and presentation of the bonus features, but it's a really solid collection of games! I'd recommend this one only if you're a true Pac-Maniac though, otherwise you might Pac-Away for the next compilation featuring him or settle in with the Arcade Archives games.
(Finished with all missions completed and all non-DLC Gashapon figures obtained)

Coming from someone who hasn't finished the original game but played it several times, this feels so much better than the original in so many ways; the updated graphics, the better control, the improved boss fights, the difficulty balance and more make it feel like an improved Pac-Man World experience! Though there are some changed aspects that I disagree on (like the awkward sound design and re-arranged songs, the frame rate drops on Switch, the Ms. Pac-Man copyright escapist member being present in her place, the removed vocals and other things) and other aspects of the original that didn't age well (specifically the camera), this is a great remake and one of the best things to happen to Pac-Man in all these years. Surprisingly, I won my own copy from Pac-Man himself! (i won the game through the official Pac-Man Instagram)

100%ed the game: all of the Pac-Family rescued, all collectibles found (all keys, maze gates, and PACMAN letters), and all mazes cleared.

This review is about the officially finished version of the game from 2022: this is a huge blast from start to finish. Extreme Genesis/Mega Drive accuracy, great level design and mechanics, the way how all the levels seeminglessly connect without a fade to black, the way you can immediately swap between Sonic and Tails, incredible remixes, and so many fun new things, it honestly feels even better than the Game Gear original. Though I did encounter some severe glitches during my playthrough, I overall enjoyed everything about this. Huge recommend from me.

Finished with all the Chaos Emeralds collected.

The ol' American-developed Sonic game is pretty rough. I did enjoy the darker theme and some of the music, but a lot of the issues originate from how the game plays: bad physics, awkward collision and aiming, and the big difficulty spike after Lava Powerhouse. Finished with save states, completed all the bonus stages except Nail the Crab.

I played Adventure DX several times back a few years ago but always stopped after Emerald Coast. I finally decided to do a full playthrough this time, but decided to go with standard Adventure on the Dreamcast. Game was pretty fun! Pretty good level design, music, play styles and environments. Main gripes are the extremely awkward camera system, occasional points on the voice acting, and the awkward collision detection. Completed without collecting all level-up items and emblems.

Pretty fun game overall! Adventures in Time takes a rather interesting spin on the Pac-Man formula, which is surprising for an early-PC era Pac-Man game. Fun mechanics, occasionally decent music, good graphics and multiplayer modes make this a pretty fun Pac-Man game. Some of my major issues include the awkward camera system (the way how it moves, making it hard to see where the ghosts are coming from, and it makes it especially hard to complete levels for the levels that disable the overhead view) and the tedious save system, which makes it frustrating to easily progress between levels, especially with the way how it also saves your current life count. Finished on the Normal difficulty.

Holy shit
This is literally everything I ever wanted in a Kirby game; even if it took him 30 years to go 3D, this game exceeded many of my expectations; great scenery, music, level design and more!! This is the big refresh i've waited for a long time and it came in with a huge bang. Even if there are a few flaws, this game made me feel as excited as I was introduced to Kirby with Squeak Squad, over more than a decade ago. I'm truly proud of my pink puffball.

I never really understood the hype over Zelda for several years, but after finally getting through this game I gotta say I'm impressed honestly! I did use a lot of save states and rewinds during my playthrough with Mesen (non-gamer moment) because of the absurd enemy placements and stuff but it was enjoyable overall.
