Great aesthetic, super fun gameplay, good story

As with most Far Cry games, the gameplay is fun and makes you feel powerful, but the story lacks depth and importance. One of the weaker games in the franchise, but fun nonetheless.

Great game with infinite replayability, but can be difficult to play casually without pulling out spreadsheets and diagrams to avoid massive wait times and losses in your factory.

Brain: OFF. Kill: ON. Easy to understand, massive replayability, tons of secrets, tons of fun.

2018

Fantastic aesthetic, fantastic gameplay, massive replayability, great story, great soundtrack. Overall, very solid game.

While I love Doom (2016) to death, unfortunately, Doom Eternal gutted major parts of its predecessor and replaced them with somewhat unsatisfying quick-swap gunplay that is not optional in the slightest. Instead of picking favorite weapons and using them for the majority of your playthrough, you are forced to use everything at your disposal in the most efficient way possible, turning what would be a power fantasy shooter into more like a puzzle game with guns. Furthermore, the story leaves a lot to be desired.

2016

One of my favorite games of all time. You are an immortal god sent to various planets and planes of reality to cleanse the world of hellish creatures. Fantastic gameplay, great story, immaculate soundtrack.

Near-endless activities to do in this MMORPG ranging from easy, casual activities that can be done solo - to 6-person multiplayer puzzles that require extreme skill and game knowledge to complete. However, one major drawback is the cost of live service DLC.

Dig. Get ore. Kill bugs. Complete mission. What more could a man want?

In my eyes, the single best puzzle game to ever exist, and has a storyline that continues to be unraveled a decade after its release, and has captivated me since.

One of the most iconic and important puzzle games in video game history, and has a story that seemingly never ends within the Half-Life universe.

A simple but elegant platformer with massive amounts of depth and a unique sense of worldbuilding

I have thousands of hours in this game, I have played dozens of mods that completely overhaul the game itself, even mods that overhaul other mods. There are endless things to accomplish and build, and endless ways to play the game with your own restrictions, no restrictions, mods, whatever.

Definitely the most polished and explorable Far Cry game in the franchise.

Easily one of the goofiest games I've ever played. The story makes very little sense, and the gameplay has you running around like a careless god, but the bugs are some of the funniest in any game I've ever played.
