Okay massive mixed feelings on this. I really like the direction Pokemon is taking. Sword and Shield DLC was amazing. Arceus introduced an super fun new gameplay loop. This game expands on some of that stuff but also takes steps backs on some ideas. I still need to keep playing and fill out my Pokedex because I love doing that. However I think so many Pokemon games (and how much I played Go..) in quick succession. Really makes these feel less special. In the last 12 months we had Diamond, Arceus and this. Mental. Also for me the performance issues really did dampen my enjoyment. I am still having fun with the game. It doesnt stop the fun (and sometimes the bugs are super funny). But it does dampen the expierence. I like this game. I guess its just too much Pokemon too quickly (and bugs)

This game is incredible. However, I am someone who actually bought a Wii to play Mario Kart 8. We have been living with Mario Kart 8 for so long now. I want a new fresh Mario Kart lol

Really fun from start to finish. It is kind of janked up and a bit unpolished but its the best Sonic game in years and years. I am super excited for future editions I really like how they reformatted the formula. Very fun and engaging. Absolutely shocked that it was only made by 60 people. So I am very forgiving of some parts. None of it stopped it being FUN. It feels like the first time you really had control over sonic since Adventure 2. He is more like a character than a car. All the people that perceive the finicky control as full on jank are missing that it allows you to make choices in the direction he is moving (very quickly). It is super messy, but I love it being less automated. There are so many movement options in the open zones I think people are going to discover and work out how to do crazy, crazy things.

This game was absolutely outstanding. To the point where it makes the previous game feel like a proof of concept. This is a iterative jump that improves on everything, a KH to KH2 situation. So many more kinds of enemies than the last game. And so many ways to kill them. The combat and spectacle is next level. The combat is faster, more tools to use and the verticality of the levels offers loads of opportunities to murder monsters (despite still no jump button lol) The environments are spectacular and you get to go to a wide variety of places across the realms. Really liked the story, well performed, well told. Made me cry A LOT for lots of different reasons. Much bigger scale than the previous (you may like that more or not) This version of Kratos is still one of the most engaging video game characters ever. So many other characters too, this feels like a rich full world with a massive family of characters who all get big moments (some super surprising) the world feels so fleshed out.

I play this game a lot. Admittedly I use the warp pipes to skip most of the game but I love doing that to quickly head through stages. I recently did it in the video game museum in Berlin and blew some kids minds hah

A game entirely built around stealth. I SUCK at and HATE stealth sections in games lol. But I took my time and really enjoyed this, the world, story and character were amazing. Very excited to try the sequel, heard it just improves on everything here.

Tried this out because I think now I am become a bit curious about the type of games Annapurna pick up to publish after trying out a couple. This was basically like an interactive poem. Honestly I found it pretty engaging, its interesting to see these variations

Its so much fun. I remember my mind blown by how all the stages directly lead into each other and you could save. We have only got 2 Chaos Emeralds going into Knuckles though lol, so lets see if we get enough in the second part (we wont)

I still find it so wild Nintendo actually released this so after the fact. Its a good game all in all! More StarFox and the new gimmicks of defending planets is pretty cool

It was really cool. Im sure this will be in my top 10 games of the year. The bosses were really well designed and challenging. A highlight for sure.

Pretty crappy GameBoy Castlevania action lol. Its difficult and pretty badly designed.

I did the Horizion DLC, The Frozen Wilds. This new area is super fun to explore and you can see they put a lot of effort into it, especially with how the snow works, new character animations, how the music is used. Really atmospheric and cool. Really substantial add on.

Always enjoyed this as a crazy party game with lots of friends. All the chaos and items flying around. And this version is really the ultimate one, loved the support for years with all the hype around the characters. Was my only Switch game for about a year haha

I have played this game so many times (and still do because we have a local arcade machine on freeplay). Its sort of timeless for me, the soundtrack, the look (even all the product placement) just seamlessly takes me back to that period and of course the gameplay is fun, addictive and holds up
