Great Star Wars story that wasn't crushed under the weight of known characters and plot. Mechanically there are some kinks to work out but it didn't get in the way of the easy cinematic play.

Really pretty, and solid acting from the leads. I haven't played the last game but the way Odin was written and characterized was surprising and fun. Otherwise the writing was just okay. It dragged on in the middle, and I feel like it lacked some inner arc there to change up the dynamic of going place after place to get X person or X thing to use on Odin. The ending with Sindri was pretty unexpected, and I'm wondering if they'll do it justice in the follow-up. Speaking of, bit of a let-down they chickened out of killing Kratos.

It was alright. Made gestures at something deeper going on story-wise but didn't take it anywhere. A couple cool setpieces but not as much background storytelling as I hoped for.

Kinda gross to get through, like a Nazi-sploitation film in a game. Alright combat, wish there was more to the story or secrets. Not sure how I feel about writing in an actual ancient Jewish secret society, yeesh

Greatest game of all time. I did my most complete run so far. Story, both DLC, every contract and secondary quest, even collected every gwent card. Saw a lot of corners of the map I hadn't before. There's so much to see.

It's alright. Controls are too squishy and the story is blah

One of the best narrative games of all time

Just finished my second run, did GD first, BL this time. Surprised at how much BL are left in the dark on certain story elements through the end. That final map was an absolute pain. Unexpectedly ended up romancing Annette, the goodest girl.

A bit clunky and strung along compared with the Star Wars series, but great humor and atmosphere nonetheless!

Cute, funny, pleasantly short! I haven't played Katamari Damacy but I have watched it played, and this seems like the same gameplay but with a neat little story attached. Lots of visual humor to appreciate.

Whatever most people are connecting with here completely missed me

2016

There are a handful of memorable scenes here, but it's not quite fleshed out enough to feel whole.

This game is basically one really memorable, well-realized "place." It feels like one of the places I visit in recurring dreams. Very cool to mess around and explore someone else's realized dreamplace. Great soundtrack too.

Through playing this I learned that I loathe point-and-click games. I needed to use a walkthrough for most of the game so I wouldn't waste time on strange and nonsensical "puzzles." It's a shame because they did their best to run against the grain of mainstream tropes and really spent quality time on the dialogue and character development. If only the story, with such fleshed-out characters, actually went anywhere with resolution. I finished confused and let down, which was strange considering how much I liked April Ryan.

Definitely a letdown after SSX3, but fun enough.
