Really good RPG player progression that matches the crescendo of the story
Not a complete waste but worse than the originals. Door to Phantomile in particular feels pretty soulless.
The physics/controls feel off compared to the original, which is a pretty big deal for a platformer. Simply not worth playing because of that, go download Duckstation and play the PSX versions upscaled instead.
