I've put in an embarrassing amount of time into this game because just being a space trucker really appeals to me, but it cannot be overstated how little there is to do beyond taking in the vast emptiness of space.

I do not like Skyrim, but I like the cool stories other people seem to squeeze out of it.

I would like to like this game more

If you're here to see your good friends from Persona 3 and 4 I'm very sorry they are done so dirty in this. The map making mechanics and combat hit just right though if you're the meticulous type.

Played this in like 2015 utterly desperate for more Valkyria Chronicles.

The level of preparation and luck that the final boss requires is FTL's most glaring flaw, but the journey there is still so good.

Somehow this entry loses some of the previous Hitman's magic. The levels aren't quite as tight and the traditional release model (as opposed to episodic releases) means there's fewer escalations and other modified modes for levels. It's still fantastic, but still nothing quite outdoes the last game's Paris level.

Beat Saber is the strongest case for getting myself a VR setup

About exactly long as it needs to be. I'm not really into the plot it tries to tack on.
Superhot VR is amazing though. If you can, try that out.

Every level is a finely tuned clockwork world, but the Paris scenario is maybe one of the most perfectly constructed levels in a game of all time with the sprawling Sapienza estate a close second. What really sets Hitman 2016 over the top is the emergent game play that comes from trying to complete missions with extreme restrictions.

A shitload of money barely covers up the fact that the best The Last of Us has to offer is on par with the worst of prestige TV with ladder puzzles between episodes.

This is honestly such a charming idea for a game I'm surprised there aren't tons more like it. It's unfortunately incredibly hard without a guide, but I had a good time getting a decent way into the game.
