i initially thought that this game would be nothing more than a silly porn game with charming graphics, but was very pleasantly surprised by this release. tight and responsive gameplay, just enough collectibles to not be annoying (sans the freaking gatcha coins those can go to hell) and a healthy selection of cute porn scenes and horny porny bosses. not that i care about that stuff i just wanted to play a metroidvania tbh but yeah this one was very very good and was worth more than what i paid for it

i will not elaborate further this is THE retro pc game 4 me... i used to play this when i was 11 on a CRT monitor at 4 am every freaking night until i beat it and if u wanna talk about some art direction this game is just my favorite.. cant even really put it into words yall im tearing up at my awful new age pc and sobbing rn thinking about the good times when this game was my life...

the levels in this game are mid, the controls and gameplay are whatever but the fucking music is 5/5

played this and 2 all the time as a kid
played thru this son of a gun every year for like 4 years.. this is a good as hell game with a fun and rewarding combat system with great scaling and some really great later game cfhallenges. the story is nonstop banter and wit and honestly some of my favorite writing in a game. the remake is going to sadly shit all over the visual charm the gamecube PNGs offer but i'll still be more than happy to play this again :)

literal peak megaman if you disagree you already drank the koolaid bro... wonderful level design (tornado man's platforms, the birds in concrete man's stage are megaman screen scrolling chaos incarnate and plug man's arduous disappearing block section all come to mind) a point of contention i see is megaman not having a slide or a charge, to that i say play proto man and quit crying. a slick gaming challenge and what migfht be the best game in the classic series (cant decide between this 8 or 10) just because a game is unfair or challenging does not make it bad
