i remember making theories about unlocking luigi (at the time i didnt know you could actually unlock him in chapter 7) and was spreading rumors to kids who hadn't beaten the game. like "there was a way to go back to the house and you could bring luigi some spaghetti to get him to go with you! he jumps super high and can throw fireballs!" it was a magical time.

oh yeah, the game is fantastic.

i dont know about you guys but the really bad explosions only add to the crust factor of this game, but it's like a charming kind of crust. the floatiness of crash is kind of hard to control, however.

also i dont get people complaining about the story. it's crash bandicoot, automatically assume cortex is going to be up to some wacky bullshit that will make the game non-canon in about 20 years.

"but what if he was golf ball?"
"sure why not"

time attack mario was something i never knew i needed until i was too late

can we please stop hating on games for using motion controls? the game is fine aside from the hand holding

i remember getting this game for my 13th birthday along with a minecraft handbook and i played this game for two months straight with no other games played at all. i even got all the korok seeds.

defined a whole era of platforming games at the time and drove all of the chumps out of the scene. what else can i say?

i'll be honest they couldn't have brought classic donkey kong back in a better way than this. this will be donkey kong in 2010

played this for a long time in single player because i had no friends as a little kid. nobody wanted to play mario party with me lol

why is the spirit of death himself trying to boycott my newspaper

i dont really like old rpgs like this. more of a DQ guy, but we gotta appreciate the groundwork somewhat.

way too many people give lego indy flak because its "boring and uninspired" this game changed my childhood it taught me what a parcel was

some of the stuff is really vague but once you get into it its like a cozy game in a way, you know? its so primitive its kind of charming just to mess around.

i have a vivid memory of playing this game when i was 6 years old that has stuck with me forever

i chucked my wiimote at my closet on accident while trying to mimic the lightsaber swings obi-wan did and it left a huge dent in the door. 11 years passed since then, and i am now seventeen. i sometimes see the dent when i go to visit my grandmother, which is where i used to live. seeing it reminds me of the simpler times playing my dsi and drawing my old long-lost mario comic, and thats what makes me happy.

love you, grandma!

i dont care what mr angry nostalgia ranker nerd king of gaming says, this game is perfect for people who just want a cute and cozy little building game. i would say the first mysims was better, but that game eluded my grasp. may play it soon though.
