It has so many issues but the world building, story, presentation, and scope of the game make it so special, and it really is a masterpiece.

This is mostly my hard bias for this game's story, but holy shit I cannot beat this game without shedding tears over the story, the music, or both. Best remake to this day.

I have grown on them a little, but I still hate playing as the Dawn Brigade. That being said, this is fucking peak fire emblem

Beat BL Maddening mode and this game is fucking lucky I still rank it this high. This game has the worst fans, and I hope they don't see this list, but the game itself is solid. Hate the monastery bits, but really good.

probably the most heat gameplay in recent years and a fire OST but holy shit the story really only beats out Sacred Stones and Fates

Varied map objectives, neat gimmicks, and solid gameplay, with an UNFAIRLY GOD TIER OST. Like we're talking some of the best tracks in the series. Disgusting. Also Ninjas in FE baller.

I hated on this game way too much. Yes, it has way too many dickriders for all the wrong reasons, but to be honest, it's not a bad FE. The story is neat, fanservice is cute, and I really had a solid time. Pair ups are broken asf.

First actually enjoyable FE in the series, as well as a two for one remake and sequel in one package. Awesome fuckin game that is very breakable, but fun.

Very faithful FE1 remake with reclassing and fucking bearable inventory management.
