A short and quick multiplayer game that should be replayable, but isn't. There are a few puzzles that aren't even randomly generated, and the ones that are random are just symbols and colours that swap each run. All that being said, it's enjoyable the first few times you play as each character, but after that, the only reason to play more is achievement hunting.

Amazing game that perfects its gameplay and doesn't try to ruin it with an elaborate story. I can imagine a worse developer trying to explain the key mechanic with some stupid quantum sci-fi device, but Pillow Castle takes an almost psychedelic ability and puts it in a dream-like environment for a surreal and enjoyable experience.
For a game whose title is about the narrative, it had an incredibly lacklustre and disappointing story. The parkour was fun at times, and the movement was okay, but it could also be incredibly difficult to control yourself in the air for certain jumps. It was very short, so I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "waste of my time", but I'm very glad that I got it for free.

Fun to play around with premade ships, and the movement in any 0-g space game is engaging. The process for making a ship is somewhat intricate and the UI isn't very user-friendly, so I never got around to learning to make my own ship.
If I had a goal in mind and tried to learn construction instead of messing around with workshop stuff, I probably would have had more fun than I did.

Look, I know this game is pretty hated, and gets critically dumped on a lot, but... I just love it. I like the characters; they're engaging to me. There's practically no gameplay because it's Telltale and so it's story, so the characters are what either make it or break it for you. I think people who don't like it were looking for a serious game where they clearly shouldn't have; Patton Oswalt is the lead of a Minecraft narrative, what did you expect? Yeah, a lot of the jokes don't land, and the choices don't really matter that much because there's like 2 branches that converge anyway, but I've sunk over 50 hours into it and I 100%ed it. This is my guilty pleasure.

I played it two years ago as of writing this. I can't remember why, but it just wasn't what I was looking for after seeing TLA. I remember it being overwhelmingly linear, and the constraints telling me exactly what I had to do along with the mildly interesting combat at best stopped me from wanting to finish it.
Such a creative concept and executed exceptionally. Games like this need an incredibly fine-tuned difficulty, because you don't want it to be so hard that it's unplayable, but you also don't want it to be so easy that it's boring. You might say that applies to all games, but when it's the same challenge over and over, it's almost all that matters.
