its a fine game, i just wasn't aware of how much the quality of your run would depend on your choices in the shop versus actually playing the game. even disregarding that, i didn't even need to use any of the synergies or anything to get particularly far (though I didn't beat it) but it would have been more interesting if i had to actively develop my build throughout the game instead of steaming through most of the waves for 40 minutes and then suddenly lagging behind.

Probably the best executed version of the synergistic designs of AutoChess imparted into a game of Snake no less. It's almost required reading. Despite being as good as it is, I can't help but feel like the genre is only just getting started.

the best autobattler snake game ever made

This game felt weird to play. Maybe it was the little amount of time spent with it but I didn't feel like there was a clear intention for constructing synergies or good builds. It kind of felt like I could throw anything together and I would likely not suffer from it. Because of this it kind of lost my attention.

It's a fun game, with a decent bit of replay value. It does get quite boring and become more annoying than anything else. Still a fun game if you want to kill a bit of time and watch the funny snake move around.

cool game but i havent played it since like after the week i bought and played it and i dont really think i plan on going back anytime soon because i blow dick at it

SNKRX will be the game that for the foreseeable future dominates my cell phone gaming needs. The concept of autochess/snake/bullethell/roguelike is like one of those dishes that you never knew worked so well together. There are some light issues (balance, graphical glitches) as it does feel like a small project, but the core concept here (and core music) bang.

this is definitely some type of mind control device. i keep playing it in a trancelike state, getting excited about the numbers and the pretty colours and the screenshake. i am being programmed to do something beyond my reckoning and i'm enjoying it very much.

edit okay i've played this a bunch more since i wrote this review and i hate to abandon the joke but this game really kicks ass. it reminds me of a vlambeer prototype: all the numbers just feel excellent, and you want to keep playing for just a little longer, yknow?

A cool idea for a simple roguelike with cool synergies and great music. Problem is, the game is absurdly easy, to the point where you can ignore most of the synergies and mechanics outright and spend the first 15 of 25 levels ramming into enemies as it does more damage than any of your well thought out plans and there's not a chance you're going to die.

Seriously, feels like one step removed from an Idle game. Without the appeal of an idle game.

This was an interesting take on Snake that turned it into a rogue-like autobattler. Shout out to Brett of Skeleton House podcast for turning me on to this.

Can't beat NG+1 for the life of me

It's like that game what with the Nokia.

I'm not usually a fan of roguelikes, but this one kept me intrigued long enough to at least beat a run.

snake the auto battler. If you value polish and juice over all else try this.

SNKRX is a simple game and quick to pick up. It took me around ~30 hours to get all achievements, which is a lot of mileage for such a cheap game, but beyond the replay value it doesn't have too much to offer. The difficult scaling is questionable and the balancing of different classes leaves much to be desired. The game shines as something mindless to play while doing something else, and it deserves some credit for its catchy ost and satisfying gameplay.

simple and well put together. Music bangs

This is a WONDERFUL roguelite for only $3. Love the simplicity.

"Theorycrafting light-bullet hells" are one of my new favourite types of game. With simple gameplay, constant action, frequent interesting decisions - SNKRX is a colourful and entertaining addition to the genre.

SNKRX is a really neat execution of a simple concept, what if snake was an autochess/autobattler game? It works pretty well for the most part, but the glaring weakness here is that the core gameplay stays pretty same-y throughout. Building a team and managing your economy is really cool and well done here, it may seem like it doesn't matter much at first but as you climb in NG+ levels it's more and more important to master. I think I'm ready to quit playing it though, because even if that challenge is fun and seeing your completed build doing work is a lot of fun, the majority of the actual playtime is spent in the early game with few units while you save up gold, where damage isn't a concern because you can dodge forever with no problem. This problem is exacerbated the higher you go in NG+ which is a real shame, because the late game becomes better but the early game gets more waves of tankier enemies that aren't actually any more difficult, and saving gold for later rounds so you get the maximum amount of interest becomes less optional. For reference, I'm on NG+4 and have nearly beaten that a couple of times. It's still a fun and unique little game, and is an easy recommendation at around $3, but I feel like there needs to be some more variety or less tedious early game for it to have more staying power.

The slick presentation [mainly the music] elevates this a lot, but I haven't really felt any growth playing it, and runs feel too same-y even if you try to focus on different synergy bonuses. It's definitely cute and the price made it a very easy try, but I don't see myself playing it much more.

Muito bom, tem como melhorar e ficar ÉPICO. Mas o gameplay base é ótimo!!
