I love dlc. There’s nothing better then having the one game you like be expanded in some way. Bioshock 2 had it, the last of us had it, and sonic origins certainly has it. But sometimes, dlc ends up becoming bigger than expected. A great example of this is the lost legacy, an uncharted adventure without Nathan drake and instead, drum roll, Chloe frazer! Yeah…where’s Charlie cutter? So because she didn’t appear in the main game they decided to give her a full blown game with the length of a dlc…good enough I guess.

So we play as Chloe frazer on her journey to find the tusk of ganesh. She is helped by Nadine Ross and Sam drake as they go against Asav to get the tusk first. Not the biggest plot but it makes sense why. They just wanted to experiment with how an uncharted game would go without Nathan being the protagonist and I guess they didn’t want to waste all the assets from uncharted 4.

Gameplay is practically the same as it is in uncharted 4 with a few differences. For starters, like 4 experimented with, lost legacy tries to be a lot more non-linear and presents a non-linear space for a big portion of the game. You can do certain fights in any order you want and can even look around for bonuses. Puzzles are also probably at their height here. Even though they are practically the same as they were in 4 they have at least given them a bit more of a centre point and they aren’t too annoying. Gunplay and fights in general are the same as they were in 4 and that’s basically it…

So…that’s it for the uncharted saga so far. I doubt we’ll get any more sequels from naughty dog who seem to have dropped the franchise for now which is a shame. There have been rumours but right now I think I’d rather just have a jak 4 not gonna lie.

Good little game, decent story, still great gameplay, I love pizza

Really good addition to the Uncharted franchise!
The sexual tension between these two is off the charts tho holy shit

I guess maybe I should give it a 7 but that final chapter goes hard af, I cannot lie.
While it never reaches Uncharted 2 or 4, certain parts are actually great - and the banter between Chloe and Nadine (and spoiler i guess, Sam) is fantastic.

Also, I am 100% down for another short Uncharted spin-off, Sony!

loved to see Nadine's and Chloe's relationship improve throughout! made me enjoy the story more.

Here are my thoughts:

The gameplay additions like lock-picking were pretty fun. Non-linearity in combat encounters was particularly great, you can be direct or discreet. The game certainly doesn't waste time reintroducing you to the mechanics of Uncharted. As for the exploration, it was good as always, although the open sections were maybe a little weak.

I loved the dynamic between Chloe and Nadine and how it progressed. They complement each other very nicely. Chloe's development into becoming more selfless was of interest, she's come a long way since 2 and 3. Asav was a decent villain, but not as good as Rafe. His ambitions and goals weren't that engaging, although he fills the role he was meant to.

The production quality was pretty surprising for what was intended to be a DLC. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the graphics, voice acting etc. I did notice that there aren't as many setpieces, but I guess that makes the train sequence stand out a lot more which is cool.

I’d say the game picks up when Sam joins, I enjoyed fighting alongside him and everyone putting aside their differences to take down ||Asav|| before it was too late.

I'm gonna miss this franchise, but I'll always remember it. I'd love for there to be more adventures, but all good things must come to an end.

My final ranking is probably 4 > 2 > LL > 3 > 1.

some really cool ideas. the western ghats especially were a ton of fun to navigate, and shows that naughty dog could probably make a pretty cool open-world game. aside from that, it has a few awesome set pieces that I am pretty sure I already played in every other uncharted game.

chloe and nadine are gay for eachother neil told me himself

DLC turned into a mainline entry, Lost Legacy proves that there's a place for Uncharted stories led by someone other than Nathan Drake.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (2017): Probablemente el mejor Uncharted. Suficiente (6,30)

Naughty Dog has never been great at writing well-developed, complex characters IMO, instead relying on quality performances from their stable of usually very talented actors. And it's not that the performances for Chloe and Nadine were particularly bad or anything - Chloe's voice acting was actually quite charming at times - but they weren't great enough to lift this game above "pretty good!" tier, for me.
Some gorgeous, memorable set pieces, as you would expect from an Uncharted title. But relatively cookie cutter characters and a formulaic, Macguffin fetch-quest story makes for a fun, lighthearted, and good! but not great, game.
Worth checking out for any big Naughty Dog heads, but not a game that's gonna convert many skeptics.

----------------------------

How ironic is it that, after more than 10 years of trying to create its own style, Uncharted ended up resembling more Tomb Raider than Tomb Raider today?

Aside from this take, there's not much to say about Lost Legacy that doesn't apply to Thief's End. The gameplay is more polished than ever, and the ability to jump between stealth and action mode feels fully streamlined. Unfortunately, Chloe Frazer is very susceptible to getting where you never want to, a sad consequence of making your games more "realistic" but not more interactive. The pacing of the game, while a bit too compressed for my taste, maintains its intensity throughout, and its climaxes seem like logical endpoints to what Naughty Dog had been doing, map-wise, since Last of Us. The fact that it's short is perhaps a point in its favor also.

I don't have much to say about the story. As with U4, there's a promise of thematic exploration, but very little of it. Lost Legacy gets away with it by using already established characters, but I have a hard time imagining anyone feeling anything for Chloe and Nadine if they didn't know them beforehand. Without that, all you have is a competent action story with vague aspirations of female empowerment.

Despite that, it's truly like we reached the end of a road here. My sincere congratulations to Naughty Dog for reaching the zenith of their artistic aspiration: looking like a Marvel movie.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is an action-adventure game released on PlayStation 4 in 2017. So far is the latest entry of the Uncharted series and the first one in which Nathan Drake isn't in the game.

The game revolves around Chloe (a character met in Uncharted 2) and Nadine (met in Uncharted 4 as a rival), who are trying to find the Tusk of Ganesh located somewhere in India. This time, the one who is also on a lookout for this tusk is Asav a leader of a group of Kannadigan insurgents who waged a guerrilla war against the government of India.
The main story is much shorter than what we are used to get, it takes a bit more than 5 hours to finish it and because of this reason many players call this an extension or DLC of Uncharted 4, since the characters models and graphics are almost identical.
Even though the game is shorter, it still gives you many great weapons, encounters and puzzles to solve, everything what other games had, nothing new, nothing removed.

All in all, as every Uncharted game, the game offers a great experience, but this time in a smaller package. If you liked every Uncharted game so far, this is also a must have then.

Strangely enough it is kinda better than Uncharted 4!
Chloe is stronger and faster than Nate xD

Uncharted Lost Legacy - 8,7/10

É DLC do Uncharted 4.

4.25 / 5.
Honestly a lot better than I'd ever expected it to be.
Whilst it doesn't come close to the heights of Uncharted 4, it is nice to play and interact with these characters again, Chloe and Nadine get more backstory which I appreciate, and Sam showing up for the final few chapters was a nice touch.
I have my complaints, I think the villain is underutilized, the game as a whole is too short as well, but I really enjoyed this.

Really terrific story. Don't sleep in this one just because Nathan isn't in it.

Short but more uncharted goodness. Chloe is such a captivating character, and the game is so polished. Definitely pick up this one if you're a fan of modern naughty dog.

It's okay, but the story feels weirdly inconsequential, and the returning characters all feel a little off. Fun if you just want more Uncharted I guess.

The Lost Legacy is essentially just more Uncharted 4, it's something like a stand-alone expansion, and a great one at that.

Honestly, I am surprised, I enjoyed this more than I expected. Even though the gameplay is more of the same, there's less climbing, and the fact that the game is relatively short is mostly a positive.

The game rarely feels repetitive, every puzzle is different from each other, and there is also an open area in the middle of the game where you can explore, which was implemented very well.

As for Chloe and Nadine, they make a pretty nice duo, where's Chloe is likeable and a goofball, Nadine is the opposite, she's aggressive and pretty cool. I liked their chemistry and I think both characters work very well together.

And now for the negatives, the story isn't necessarily bad, it's just very generic and there are no stakes. Also, in my personal opinion, the biggest flaw the game has is that there are barely any highlights in it, almost no action except from the last chapter, which is a complete letdown considering how the action is literally the best part about this series.

Overall it's very solid, and for its size it's definitely worth checking out.

Final Rating: "Good" ~ 7/10.
