Kind of an easy platformer that was pretty fun. I liked it a lot as a child, and I was sad to not get a sequel. It was exceptionally easy to 100% this game.

most average platformer you can imagine. Has a few nice twists with Peach's emotional power-ups, but the levels were super confusing and almost always felt like a maze. I also hated that you had to collect every single toad to start the final boss and that damage causes you to get knocked back instead of just taking damage so you'd certainly fall down somewhere as soon as a hammer bro appeared out of the screen.
BUT the Vibe Scepter is indeed hidden away in my house somewhere :)

I have severe schizophrenia and also I review Super Princzss Peach game boy afvance. Her name Peach and she must free the blowjob brothers! At this point in time, who knows what Nintendo was cooking? I'd say having her gimmick be getting emotional is not dodging the bullet, but we must respect wahmen even if they cry during an Avatar movie, so I'm not sure if there's any tree I can bark to. I don't know why they gave her a cool parasol with thoughts and then did the same with Mario's hat but she pioneer'd that shit! Also Mario doesn't count it was a ghost and also

A chairman is not a humanoid chair. Unlike that, Peach is a true firewoman she just fire and shit. Wanna do the 4 elements again? Because we have fire, water and air aaaand she can eepy but not on the ground. I can't in good conscience approve of labelling it the earth element. That healing ability, or "Emotion: Calm", is probably why I've yet to see what the game over screen looks like. Make no mistake though, it is over. As soon as they told me to get all the collectibles to get to the credits. Why they do this 🤣🤣🤬

It's a platformer and you can hover if you just wanna reach the finish line. But, huh, don't do dat!! I swear our game is interesting. There are crying goombas (they learned about the Smash community) and angry koopas (they learned about the Smash community). You're not asked to go the extra mile and do complex puzzles, what interactions there are between your emotions and the environment can be solved by their target audience. Which is apparently girls, but I cannot confirm at the present. Come on Miyamoto today's girls play Elden Ring, re-evaluate your judgment mf 😂

Le story is garbajio, it makes Showtime read like a masterpiece. Is that what Luigi was reading in bed before hitting the snooze frame 1 in that one gif? Did he learn there was a v-bucks shop where you could buy a proper moveset? I think the takeaway from this is that the levels have quite the meat on them but sometimes, I'm just vegan and that's ok. Or the other takeaway could be that Toadsworth is fake asf and has never given me a call because he drove the kingdom into severe bankruptcy. Oh, to be a princess again... ( I do miss that mf he seldom appears these days)

I thought this game was super fun when I was younger, haven't gotten to play it since. I loved the sprites, the music, and the ideas the game went with. Always kinda thought it was more hated than it deserved, it's a great time.

I know a lot of people really despise this game, and honestly I can sorta see where they are coming from. but for the first game with the Princess as the main character.... it's not that bad.
It's a decent enough title created by the same creators of Starfy (aka THE GIGACHAD), and it's kinda surprising that it got released slightly before the resurgance of 2D Super Mario Bros games. But even without taking New SUper Mario Bros into consideration, Super Princess Peach does its own unique thing.

The Princess is fun to control as a 2D platform hero, and her unique mechanic that combines 4 distinct powers (actually 3, I dunno what's the logic about the green one) makes for some cool level gimmicks and interactions. Nothing is really well expanded and used at the strongest potential, but for what it is it's fine.

I know most people dislike the use of EMOTIONS to showcase the princess power, and I can see where these complains come from.... but also I kinda disagree with those statements since these powers are not just relegated to the princess: enemies of past titles are back afflicted by these emotions, and makes for some fun twist to all of them: you get Koopas that sings while walkings, goombas that cry and zooms into your face, and boos that are so pissed that they work the opposite as opposite boos...... also REX from mario world is an enemy, I love Rex. Overall all of thiese twists and recreations of past enemies and bosses brings for me a lot of charm to the title, thanks to the cozy vibes, great music and adorable artstyle and sprite works.

The addition of the differen forms for the parasols and a kinda decent collection of minigames (except the pre-boss ones) offer a bunch of variety that is always appreciated (even though the implementation of forced microphones to move around can result into some annoying phases).

The game overall is totally fine...... until you reach the final level and find out that "Yeah, remember those toad boxes that you imagined being optional to complete the story? NONO GO BACK, free ALL the toads only to get a chance against Bowser". That is one of the worst decisions you can do for a game, forcing an almost platinum completion only to have a chance against the final boss.
That alone drops the quality of the title immensely, since it forces you to replay over half of the pasts levels if you were not careful, dragging a small innocent title for way too long... not to mention that more unlockables shows up in each level after the credits, so you technically gotta come back a third time if you really wanna 100% it

Aside from that, this is not a horrible title: it works, it's fun and Peach I am sure had a good time.
Also this game teach me that if my mother laughs a lot, maybe a "magical sceptre" is hidden somewhere in my house..... thanks guys, I really needed that info when I was 10....

So, why would I choose to play this game first over Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros 3?

I don't know, it just looked interesting and, basically no one ever talks about it, and, well.

I had a pretty fun time with it! It's a pretty enjoyable little game.

Peach controls really great, the variety of moves she has and the ones you unlock make her feel really capable and fun to control.

The levels are, very serviceable, if a bit forgettable, though in all honesty, 2D mario games don't really have very memorable levels in general, I mean, who can remember 3-2 from SMB 1 or, 5-3 from New Super Mario Bros U? It's basically the same case here.

The artstyle is, super cute! It feels like what an original Mario game would've looked like on the GBA and, I say that very much as a compliment, the animations on Perry the umbrella are also so expressive and adorable, I love how the game looks!

And the bosses are pretty fun actually, I enjoyed the bosses.

My main issue with the game is how overly-easy it is, it's closer to Kirby than Mario in difficult, finding all the collectibles doesn't make it any more difficult either so, yeah, I'd recommend you play this game on the side while tackling another, more difficult game, so you can come back to this one when you feel frustrated with the other game.

Overall, really fun and serviceable platformer, I really liked it!

Playing the better Peach game made me realize how unlikely it was for us to get Super Princess Peach in the first place.

First things first: the game isn't plagued by gimmicky DS controls like half the early DS games, but it simply lets you control the princess' emotions, which play an important role in platforming: by getting angry, Peach can stomp; by crying, you can water plants and so on.

What's so special about this game though? Honestly, not much! The protagonist is cute and the idea is novel, but outside some outstanding levels (like the mansions), I don't really remember much about the game and the levels themselves. I'm sure it works and it controls well enough, controlling emotions is a cool idea and all but it simply cannot carry the game alone. It's an innocuous little game, with wonderful spriting might I add, about a role switch between savior and saved, but that's it.

I wish I had platform sections during my mood swings, but I digress.

Jogabilidade boa, não presenciei nenhum defeito na minha gameplay inteira. Só não gostei muito da decisão dos mini-games antes dos bosses e ter que pegar todos os toads para poder terminar o jogo. Tirando isso o jogo é muito legal.

é um plataformer extremamente chato, repetitivo e pouco inspirado que não ousa ser criativo em nada, para mim isso foi um baita disperdício de potencial para o jogo que iria dar um palco maior para a Peach. Foi realmente cansativo jogar isso até o final, dentre todos jogos da Nintendo que joguei esse é o que eu menos sinto vontade de visitar novamente, não recomendo para nínguem ao não ser que você queira morrer de tédio e cansaço

Very weird game. It being so different compared to the usual 2D Mario plaformer can sometimes be a strength but more often feels like a less polished version of a normal Mario game.

i think it's a fine enough platform game but not a remarkable one. If NSMB was easy this is waaaaayyyy easier, all the bosses felt like a joke and the music was also very forgettable, not bad but nothing to write home about

Primeiro jogo em q a Peach é protagonista então na minha cabeça teria um cuidado muito maior, ele tem um charme bem legal e é bem bonitinho porém as fases vão passando e cada vez mais o cansaço chega, pensei em parar só q já tinha passado da metade então encarei até o final, fases que vão passando e perdendo a criatividade se tornando só chato. Eu como um bom amante de plataforma principalmente adorando a Peach fiquei bem decepcionado

A fine adventure. The sprite work is very well done, a distinct yet recognizable Mario style. The newer enemies and locales to this game all fit in well. The levels are fun, if not sometimes too easy. The music is nice too.

I remember being stuck as a kid and locked out of the final fight for a while since you need all the Toads from every level in every world to access it. This always felt kind of a mean restriction for a game meant for kids, one that comes out of nowhere. I wouldn’t mind if it was telegraphed earlier but, I remember being very blindsided by it. I also feel for the common comment of Peach’s powers being a bit uninspired and unrelated to her character. This is a fine enough game but not my favorite Mario platformer.

Super Princess Peach is the first spinoff that Princess Peach ever received, and all-in-all it's a fantastic fun experience.

Even if the the story can be simplified down to:
"Bowser tries to get Peaches Vibrator, and Peach must defeat him because he kidnapped a bunch of Toads, Luigi, and Mario. Peach aquires a magical talking umbrella who turns out to be a person who was turned into one by an evil wizard. With the help of Perry the Umberella, Peach goes on her way to kick Bowsers ass herself! She has to use her emotions/vibes of Joy, Anger, Sadness, and Calmness to go through the worlds to defeat him and him minions for stealing her friends and her vibrator."

But really Nintendo did a great job making all the levels fun and essentially forcing you to deal with level by using the different emotions which I really appreciate them doing, because it means they took the time to think about how to use Peach's emotion in a way that is effective and constant for gameplay sake. I appreciate the Toad Stores within this game, as it gives reason for you to collect coins in order to unlock extra content and Moves for Peach to use, along with extra minigames for more fun.

The game has standard 8 worlds, with 6 levels per world, with the 5 consisting of getting from point A to Point B, while trying to find 3 hidden Toads per level, which really is a fun incentive to look around the level to find them, along with using Peach's emotions to help survey the areas faster incase they're hidden. And the final 6th stage per World essentially has you fight a boss of every specific world, utilizing Peach's emotions while being careful of correct timing when fighting these bosses!

Peach has 4 forms she can take when the player uses the touch screen of their DS/3DS, these being:

- ANGER: Peach is engulf in an firey aura burning enemies all around her, along with burnable bridges to access hidden areas, as well as ground pounding hard objects, and being able to move tough objects as well.

- SADNESS: Peach Crying water falls arcs that allow her to run quickly on fast falling objects. She can use her waterfall tears to grow flowers to create platforms and power watermills to access areas among the level.

- Joy: Peach becomes a Cyclone of happiness that allows her to spin quickly in place allowing you to take out enemies but also spin wind turbines to access hidden areas among levels that feature them. Another positive of this it allows you to float throughout stages to access more hidden areas or escape a fight.

- Calmness: If Peach has take too much damage this vibe/emotion will create a green healing aura around Peach allowing her to regain health until fully healed or until you have run out of energy in your energy bar.

The Vibes/emotions are only able to be used when your vibe meter has energy in it, if you've run out, you pick up enemies and have Perry the Umbrella eat them to regain energy allowing you to use the vibes again.

Honestly I really appreciate how much they tried to make the gameplay fun. I also appreciate how Nintendo didn't just reuse sprites from the Mario & Luigi series to make Super Princess Peach, they certainly could have, but instead Super Princess Peach has it's own unique sprite art that is a really a nice unique style for it and it alone.

Overall the experience for Super Princess Peach is a really fantastic one, one I highly recommend, I really love it when popular characters get well put together spinoffs that allow us to appreciate the characters more.

Even if this game was made for the entire sense of making a vibrator joke (no really how did Nintendo get away with that lol).
This game is still a treat to play and I absolutely recommend it.

It makes me hope Nintendo decides to allow more characters to get spinoffs. Peach now officially has 2, and they're both great in their own unique way.

Super Princess Peach feels like a solid entry in the overall spectrum of Mario franchise platformers. Art is great, theming is fun, and peach plays like a charm - not to mention she's got plenty of character that gives the game life.

The "vibes" (as they called the emotion based abilities) were a bit lack-luster - game mechanics-wise they're all fun, but in the level design their usage is pretty shallow most of the game. Maybe they just didn't want to overcomplicate things, but I never felt clever using them; each ability can be summarized as a key that unlocks the next area of a level.

Overall, this game feels like a solid attempt to be the first Mario franchise game for a new generation of gamers. It's pretty easy without too much complexity, even for folks that want to 100% it. There are some really good callbacks to Super Mario World though, which I loved. Definitely worth a play!

From a time where women being seen as emotional was a compliment rather than something journalists would call sexist. Up there with some of Mario's strongest games while staying simple and straight-to-the-point.

Gostei muito desse joguin da peach confesso que fui sem esperar nada e acabei me encantando com tudo nele, sua jogabilidade é gostosa seus gráficos são belos e seus cenários são construídos de forma semelhante aos jogos do Yoshi do SNES e até um pouco ao Super Mario World. No começo eu até ia dar 5 estrelas pra ele, só que teve algumas coisas que me fizeram tirar uns pontos dele e que me incomodaram bastante.

As fases de água são boas, mas passar por elas pode se tornar algo trabalhoso já que você tem que ficar assoprando o microfone do DS pra atacar ou quebrar blocos que estão no seu caminho. Isso até que é engraçado no início e você até da umas risadinha, mas quando vai passando o tempo vai ficando irritante e chato.

Super Princess Peach até tinha tudo pra da certo do início ao fim, só que decidiram colocar checkpoints injustos e te obrigam a coletar TODOS os toads (tipo.. todos mesmo) pra conseguir zerar o jogo. Falando assim até parece algo ok e pode ser legal de fazer pra alguns, mas pra mim isso deixou o jogo terrivelmente CHATO e me fez abandonar o jogo no final.

Então é isso, não cheguei a zerar por conta dessa palhaçada de coletar os Toads mas eu me diverti com o que deu pra jogar! Vale a pena jogar hoje em dia se você sentir interesse só fique atento nesse detalhe ai mesmo se tiver afim de finalizar o game.

With Perry, the Parasol joining Peach as an ally, an additional gameplay element becomes available, which requires players to utilise their powers to defeat enemies and overcome obstacles. Super Princess Peach stands out further due to the vibe powers and emotion meter that give players a unique and easy technique for communicating with the game's environment.

Super Princess Peach departs from traditional Mario platformers, however its gameplay ideas are creative and well-done. The inclusion of the vibe powers and emotion metre to the gameplay not only improves its complexity but also ties in with the narrative of the game, as Peach utilises her emotions to overcome difficulties, like Inside Out if it was a video game. The way Perry's skills grow throughout the game ensures sure that the battle never becomes less engaging and dynamic, with new strategies and techniques appearing throughout of the time. Super Princess Peach is a unique and endearing addition to the Mario Universe overall, and I'm not sure Showtime can top what Super Princess Peach was.

Story- In "Super Princess Peach (2005)," the story occurs on Vibe Island, an unknown location rumoured to be home to the powerful Vibe Sceptre. Eager to use its abilities, Bowser creates his vacation home on the island and, once his minion discovers the sceptre, assumes control of it. Bowser utilises his strength to transport Toads throughout the island to capture Mario, Luigi, and various other characters. Princess Peach, armed only with a sentient parasol named Perry which Toadsworth handed her, starts on a solo rescue journey upon hearing of the chaos triggered by Bowser's actions.

Peach encounters many kinds of challenges as she goes through the island's different parts, each imbued with the remaining emotional energy unleashed by the Vibe Sceptre. While the role-reversal plot—a princess saving the plumbers—is well-known, the game includes new systems where Peach's emotions influence her abilities. Peach fights Bowser's troops with Perry, resulting in an argument at Bowser's Villa. Super Princess Peach's plot was acceptable but nothing new, in my opinion, as role-reversal plots are frequently used in media. The friendship theme in the game itself reminds me quite a bit of Kirby Star Allies if that particular game wasn't so mediocre

Super Princess Peach despite it not being that difficult of a game, was a fun game to play. It’s great that this game had experimented with new characters for the Mario universe, which I’m hoping Bowser gets his own spin off game at some point since he still doesn’t have one. I doubt that Princess Peach Showtime would top this game but even though it’s too easy
