The Last of Us is more of an interactive movie than a video game, the character moments and dynamics are great, and how much it does with its simple plot, which is basically a road trip movie but with zombies was also really good. I didn't really enjoy most of the actual gameplay in it, I thought the combat and especially the stealth were not that fun at times, I thought the puzzles were mostly boring, and most of the locations blended together.
The Last of Us is primarily known for its intense stealth, combat, and survival elements, as well as its emotional storytelling that tugs at your heartstrings.
But it's these moments of levity and humanity that make the game truly special. It's a testament to the developers' ability to craft a world that feels alive and believable, with characters you genuinely care about.
Although it is more of a cinematic and very linear experience.
