Played on release -- This is quite possibly the best Xenoblade experience IMO. It offers such a well thought out progression system, the story is perfection, the music, world, and character design all surpassed my expectations for this DLC. What an amazing way to cap off this trilogy.
Played on release -- This game takes everything from its predecessors and uses them to produce an impeccable 3rd mainline game in the series. No game has made me cry as hard as this one, and while I do think that there is quite a bizarre shift in pace near the end of the game, it holistically is excellent and I cannot recommend it enough.

These games got HARSHLY criticized and I believe rightfully so. As my first mainline Pokemon game, I did have fun and I wanted to finish it, but I also dread having to slog through the horrible performance and graphics. Underneath those issues, I think there is maybe a 4 star game, but those issues are impossible to look past. Introduced some of my favorite Pokemon though and the final story beats were amazing. I really want to like this game more, but it is so difficult to genuinely recommend.

Played on release -- While I do like this game a lot, it suffers a decrease in score mostly due to my disappointment in its story. I was really hoping the story would be a canon look into the events before Breath of the Wild, and while 50% of the game offered that, the fact that it became a "what-if"/"alternate reality" left a bad taste in my mouth. It was still cool, but I feel like the game could have been truly amazing if it followed through with what ACTUALLY would have happened if it followed canon. HOWEVER, it still offers a vast amount of challenges, characters, and story to unpack, and most of it is pretty good, so it still will receive 3 1/2 stars.

While similar to any given Fire Emblem game, it offers an infinitely better story at the cost of customizability. I am deducting a star because while the mechanic marketed (the "triangle" decision making) was serviceable, it lacked a certain degree of complexity that I feel like it sorely needed. However, the game is still an excellent one.
