Using this to review Canto 5

Gameplay-wise a massive upgrade over the previous ones, paced way better too. Love the Great Lake, super cool setting that I hope we can revisit later. Amazing climax, loved Ahab as a villain and as always with these chapters, the final fight was just soooo good. Heathmael forever....

contrary to this game's themes it made me wanna off myself i have not cried this much at a game in a while goonbert forever

Story is kinda bad but that's not really why i play these games so w/e. Kirin's gameplay is super fun, slashing and teleporting your way through levels feels extremely satisfying although some of the bosses are uhhh questionable. Biggest pet peeve however is the amount of dialogue text boxes that pop up on screen when you're trying to fight a boss, made it so annoying to keep track of things at times. Fun game overall tho excited for what comes next, hopefully another Copen game

need to smoke the shit miyazaki did when designing these bosses

this game has weirdly grown on me simply bc i find it hilarious as hell

if i dont get mahoyo 2 immediately i will turn into a one piece tiktok

im struggling to think of a single aspect of this game i even remotely like

i have never had as much faith in this series as i do now

if u dislike this game the series aint for u

to no one's surprise the white haired anime swordsman voiced by takahiro sakurai ended up being the greatest of all time

now i am a zoomer at heart so if you told me that a game released before the 2000s would end up being one of my favorites ever i wouldve laughed at you fortunately takahashi was possessed by the spirit of jesus christ and ended up shitting out an absolute masterpiece and i can only kneel in admiration

godrick in ww2 be like uwaaaahhh im godrick the drafted

this felt like trying to fight the first caveman to discover fire
