One of From Software's best games, the first 60 hours were immensely fun but the last portion of the game was drastically worse. Exploring the vast open world From created is one of my favorite things to come from a game in years.

No Party Rock Anthem at all, can't be that hard of a party

Cozy platformer that knocks the N64 vibes out of the park, but the lack of responsive audio and super simplistic stages kinda detracts from the overall experience.

I don't even particularly like the first game but holy shit this one is a wreck. The only thing I can say I didn't hate was the soundtrack but I can't name a single other positive thing about it. Gameplay's frustrating or boring, bosses are either tedious or infuriating, the side content isn't fun, I really can't think of a reason to play this game.

One of the best written Yakuza games in the series, Ichiban has managed to become one of my favorite protagonists RGG has written. The story is insanely good with good motivations, stakes, and characters and for a first try at a JRPG, RGG Studios has done a good job. I desperately want more of Ichiban and his crew and I really want RGG to push into the future and focus more on new characters instead of relying on the old.

Short and sweet, Kaito feels really fun to play and the combat encounters suit his moveset. The story is really nice and tight with no weird plotholes or inconsistencies and a great antagonist (with an even greater final fight). I just wish there was more to it but for what's there, it's fantastic.

Top 3 RGG game so far. Such a massive variety of content, super fun combat, an engaging story, and fun cities to explore. 100% it is a task but it's a fun process throughout the entire 150+ hour experience. Crazy that it took RGG 9 years to make a game as good as this

Combining the best parts of RE4 and RE7, RE: Village became one of my favorite games in the series quickly. The constant shift of horror genres mixed with the tense atmosphere and fun gameplay makes it the best inventory manager to come out in years.

Battle for Bikini Bottom is one of my favorite platformers of all time, which is why the movie game is such a disappointment to me. Everything about this game feels like a poor adaptation of the original content created for BfBB. All of the moves feel weird and have oddly different timings, some moves have changed buttons, enemies aren't nearly as well placed or designed with some taking on the properties of multiple BfBB enemies at once, the levels feel lazily slapped together and are super repetitive since there are functionally three kinds of levels, the music isn't nearly as good, the animations aren't nearly as good. There really isn't anything this game does that BfBB does at least twice as well. It's not the worst game in the world but goddamnit if it isn't boring as sin.

One of the most innovative and unique platformers I've played, I loved damn near every level in the game and the story and characters are some of my all time favorites. The only complaint I'd have is that finding figments can be annoying due to their translucency and/or their movement, plus some of the later levels can be a bit of a slog but otherwise it's one of my favorite platformers I've played in recent years

Definitely one of the weaker Yakuza games, but Dead Souls shouldn't be written off. It's got a good story without any annoying typical Yakuza twists, solid substories, and the absolute best characterization for Majima and Akiyama. It's still a fun game but it's unfortunate that it gets samey quick and the performance on PS3 is lacking to say the least (thank god for emulation, it runs like a dream on RPCS3). I've spent a lot of the game due to writing a guide on it and I feel people should appreciate the game more for what it is - a silly Yakuza spin-off to celebrate the old game engine

Massive improvement on everything from the original game. Much better level design, overall gameplay flow, power-up balancing, and bosses. Still not worth playing though, I just wanted to have something funny in my list of Platinum Trophies.

Cozy music, good vibes, but unfortunately I didn't find the puzzles all that interesting. For being a LEGO game, most of the puzzles are really restrictive and don't let you come up with interesting solutions on your own. It would have been nice if there was a button to rotate the blocks the opposite way as well, but I overall found the experience boring.
