The outer wilds was a deeply moving and emotional experience for me. The game was constantly like a beautiful painting, a real work of art. The gameplay was fantastic, and the puzzle aspect was so rewarding to solve. I highly recommend that you go into this game as blind as possible, and just take in the experience. Don't worry about speed, or mistakes, or anything like that. Just feel.

A perfect wrap on the god of war saga, and playing this game after God of war 4 and 5 I realize just exactly how much the Kratos in those games had really went through. While the gameplay was great, I think easily the best part of this game, and the whole saga, is Kratos himself, and his character development.

Played this game 2-player with my partner, and I think that it would definitely be a better experience single-player. The player collision and ability to hurt and jump on each other was very annoying and frustrating when the game asked for precise platforming. Almost every world overstayed it's welcome, and a lot of worlds introduced mechanics that just weren't that fun. However, the final boss was pretty cool, and some of the game was pretty enjoyable.

I do think the story is weaker in this title than in the previous games, BUT almost everything else was better. The graphics are leagues better, the combat is more enticing, rewarding, and challenging, the abilities were fun to use.

After almost exactly 10 months I have finally beat TOTK. And I have a lot to say.

For starters, the story is amazing. I could not believe the twists and turns this tale took throughout it's run, and I genuinely did not see most of them coming. I have no gripes with the story.

The abilities in this game are leagues better compared to the ones in BOTW, but unfortunately I think that's a downfall on occasion. The game and a lot of its puzzles are incredibly easy to cheese with very basic understanding of the abilities you have. I rarely ever beat shrines how they were intended to be beaten, and I only ever really explored with the "airbike" that gained a lot of popularity in the community. In BOTW, you had to be creative in every shrine, in TOTK, you really only have to be creative until you find the best way. And I think that's a small flaw, despite how cool and impressive the abilities are.

The gameplay itself was pretty fun. I enjoyed completing all 152 shrines, however, I feel that far too many of them were crystal shrines or environmental puzzles to GET to the shrine that only had a treasure in it. I would've liked it a lot more if there were more challenging puzzle shrines. Exploring the depths and getting all the lightroots was one of my favorite parts ironically. Despite the monotony, I feel like the constant obtaining of zonaite which can then be turned into batteries allowing you to explore the depths better was a fun incentive and reward to keep doing it. And the depths being all lit up late game was VERY helpful. The combat was fun as always, I don't think it changed very much from BOTW but that's not necessarily a problem, since they're VERY connected sequels.

The final boss was overall good, although the third phase was very hard and a little frustrating for me personally. Ganon counters almost all of your abilities in phase 3 except for the standard Parry, which by that point in the game I'd forgotten about since flurry Rush is the far superior ability in my opinion. Phase 4 or "Dragon Ganon" was definitely my favorite fight in the series. It was incredibly shocking and I didn't see it coming at all, and it was incredibly cinematic and impressive for the switch.

After 100+ hours spent with this title, I can say firmly that it's very good, and an improvement on BOTW. I have minimal complaints in comparison to the amount of fun and joy I've had on this 10 month journey with Link, Zelda, and Ganon.

I am absolutely dumbfounded by this game. They absolutely perfected portable god of war with this entry, and the absolute only complaint I have about this entry is some of the controls. Which is just an unfortunate product of the system it's on, but I can't personally give it a perfect since it did annoy and frustrate me on occasion. Other than that, the story was amazing, the weapons and abilities were super fun and rewarding, the puzzles were fun to work through, and the second weapon that Kratos gets in this game is super awesome, but I'll avoid spoiling it. Overall, I really enjoyed my time with this entry, and I'm sad there's no more to play on this system.

I was supremely impressed with this entry in the god of war series. I decided to play it while I wait to play god of war 2 since I'm busy and can't be home, and Chains of Olympus was a shock. It looks beautiful on the psp, it plays well, and the controls are tight despite being limited. The story was also surprisingly impactful and really felt necessary to be told. I understand that technically, it doesn't, but it adds a lot to Kratos' character. Overall, the game was a quick and fun experience that I was quite surprised by.

God of War 2005 is a marvel of a game. I've never really seen a game like this successfully pull off so many different genres. It's a puzzle game, 3-D platformer, and hack and slash all at once. And it does really good on all fronts. And specifically I loved the temple of Pandora. Even though it took up like half of my playtime, it was so fun, so challenging, and really made me think "How did they even come up with this??" Unfortunately, I do think the game shows it's age just a bit in its combat mechanics. I had some trouble with the blocking and rolling mechanics actually working/inputting fast enough. I also couldn't animation cancel my attacks which, even if it was intentional and not due to the games age or technical limits, was still annoying and got me killed a few times. Overall tho, the experience was amazing and I'm definitely gonna replay to try and get the platinum trophy.

This game is overall, as a whole experience, not that great. The exploration is not satisfying, the lack of a map is frustrating, and finding the talismans to upgrade the transformations happens way too late. However, I will say that the dungeons were each pretty fun in their own rights. I hope I see more of this while I play through the franchise

I have played this game before, many times, but this time I decided to go for the platinum trophy on PlayStation Vita. It was incredibly fun. Altho, as usual, I hate fog night, and the only reason I took it down half a star.

Tearaway was beautiful, and pretty fun. But overall, it was a piss easy 3-D platformer and probably would've only taken me a couple of hours to beat if I didn't go for the platinum trophy.

Shit rocks. I 100%'d it this time around and it's probably my favorite Mario kart game

Warioland is a fantastic entry point into Wario's character, a great look into his past, and a wonderful standalone platformer. Incorporating elements of typical Mario gameplay, with new enemies and new power ups, Warioland is really able to stand on its own 2 feet. I think the Dragon hat and Jet hat were definitely the most fun, and I LOVED wario's bash throughout the entire game. One of my only complaints with the game is that unfortunately, it does show its age. There are regular "frame drops" and slowdown when multiple things are happening on screen at the same time. Sometimes, the platforming is pretty demanding for what you're able to do on a Gameboy and, as I complained about in my last 2 reviews, old platformers are brutal with their lives system. Warioland demands that you remember the exact number and location of each course, as if you ever "game over" you have to go back and get the secret from that level. The levels do not have unique names or any indicator that they have a secret however. Which is frustrating. Overall though, my experience was positive and I am excited to play the rest of the wariolad franchise.

This game is very good, and one of my new favorite Mario titles, but I do unfortunately have some complaints. Some of the levels were just a bit too demanding for the hardware, and required incredibly precise platforming with kind of iffy physics sometimes. I also hate when any platformer removes your progress, and if you take over you lose ALL YOUR COINS!! Sure, it's way quicker to regain them but still tedious and lots of extra work. Overall, I loved the power ups and new platforming elements introduced, and Im sad to see that I've never seen most of them before, which probably means not a lot of them survived into the next games. Even with my problems, the game is still amazing.

This game is honestly not great. A lot of that is simply the hardware. I can see the vision they were going for, and that's why I give it at least 1 whole extra star in my rating, but it can't be ignored how bad the game really is. The levels are incredibly difficult with odd and demanding platforming with odd physics. Mario's gravity in this game is very strange, and there were many points in the game where I would land on the edge of a platform and get clipped straight down. Not very good, not very fun.
