Every level and boss in this game feels fun and fair. The items and secrets are the best in the series so far, and holy shit did the final boss put a damper on everything that was previously established. This boss was genuinely impossible for me to beat until I used a save state halfway through the fight to reset and have a good run. This is probably the single worst final boss in a video game that I have played so far, and by far the worst Wiley in the series up to this point.
This game is very good, and one of my new favorite Mario titles, but I do unfortunately have some complaints. Some of the levels were just a bit too demanding for the hardware, and required incredibly precise platforming with kind of iffy physics sometimes. I also hate when any platformer removes your progress, and if you take over you lose ALL YOUR COINS!! Sure, it's way quicker to regain them but still tedious and lots of extra work. Overall, I loved the power ups and new platforming elements introduced, and Im sad to see that I've never seen most of them before, which probably means not a lot of them survived into the next games. Even with my problems, the game is still amazing.

Megaman 3 has a stark difficulty curve from 2. Way less consumables drop from enemies and levels are generally harder, as well as some of the bosses being more difficult. Which isn't bad, but some of the difficulty felt kinda chees-y. Ironically, Wily's castle and final boss fight in this game is the easiest one so far. Sliding and Rush the Dog were 2 amazing additions to this game that made it feel sooooo much better than 2. Although I still like 2 way more. The introduction of proto-man and the reveal who he is later was also an amazing part of this game.

God of War 2005 is a marvel of a game. I've never really seen a game like this successfully pull off so many different genres. It's a puzzle game, 3-D platformer, and hack and slash all at once. And it does really good on all fronts. And specifically I loved the temple of Pandora. Even though it took up like half of my playtime, it was so fun, so challenging, and really made me think "How did they even come up with this??" Unfortunately, I do think the game shows it's age just a bit in its combat mechanics. I had some trouble with the blocking and rolling mechanics actually working/inputting fast enough. I also couldn't animation cancel my attacks which, even if it was intentional and not due to the games age or technical limits, was still annoying and got me killed a few times. Overall tho, the experience was amazing and I'm definitely gonna replay to try and get the platinum trophy.

Kirbys Adventure is a cute little platformer. My only complaints are that the enemies and stages are quite repetitive, and stretched across 7 worlds with 6 levels each. There were times when I was very bored, or zone out. But the Dedede fight and the final fight with Nightmare was AMAZING and SUPER fun.

Game was pretty good. Only real complaint is that some levels have a STARK difficulty curve compared to the levels adjacent to them. Like sometimes a level will be super easy, followed by the hardest level I've played in the game, followed by a medium-difficulty level. It was jarring. Also, controlling a 3-D platformer with a D-pad was MISERABLE!! I know it's a product of it's time, but it still sucked. Also, saving the game was miserable too. You can't save and quit whenever you want, you have to beat a bonus stage.

Very good game! Some of the levels have aged slightly poorly in my opinion, and I died a LOT learning how the levels work and operate. My only real complaint about controls was that run and roll are the same button. Super weird and made platforming in tight spaces very annoying. Otherwise great! Amazing final boss as well.
