While optimistic, there was no other way I could describe the leadup to Resident Evil 4's 2023 remake than cautious. Fortunately, that wasn't all that warranted because the game nailed every aspect of it that I could think of. It reworks slower areas of the game, adds new and addictive gameplay mechanics, and modernizes just about everything you could think of.

Out of all the Fromsoft games, this is most definitely the one I feel nails a specific atmosphere and type of gameplay the hardest. Whereas Elden Ring succeeds in its adaptability, Bloodborne succeeds in its execution.

As much as I wanted to enjoy this game, I genuinely cannot stand musuo based gameplay.

Although I can't say that I enjoyed this game as much as P4G, the gameplay and structure of the story and pacing as simply fantastic. As of now, this is probably my favorite turn-based combat system available.

Although P5R certainly has better gameplay, and you might even be able to argue that the narrative was executed better, I still have to say that P4G is my favorite Persona game.

There's no way that I can possibly comprehend how I even had the willingness and patience to beat this game. Outside of the OST, I can't think of a single redeeming quality this game might have. Awful story pacing, inconsistent and unbalanced bosses and dungeons, and an overall lackluster cast do absolutely nothing to benefit it.

Not only is Persona 3 one of the worst games to be released by Atlus with an awful story pacing, inconsistent and unbalanced bosses and dungeons, and an overall lackluster cast, but this is the most inferior version of even that.

Monster Hunter World is absolutely fantastic and I can't think of a better word to describe it than grounded. Grinding through monsters is great, but the way weapons feel, the maps are laid out, and the processing of searching for monsters is absolutely fantastic.

Although I enjoyed the game, I have to say that it really doesn't stack up to World, aside from some QOL features that I really hope stay in the franchise moving forward.

Not much to say really, a great story that genuinely takes advantage of Spider-Man as a character along with great, satisfying gameplay.

I've played this game off and on basically since it's released across three different Steam accounts and on 360, and I can't express enough just how well this nailed the co-op experience. On the off chance the Valve ever released a Left 4 Dead 3, I would buy it instantly without hesitation.

2018

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but with games like this I usually treat it really casually and pick it up and put it down. I'll finish it at some point, but for now it's gonna happen down the road.

For the longest time I looked back on this game pretty negatively, but it was pretty unwarranted. The story is pretty good, and I think it has a good message to tell. The world is huge, driving is fun, and online could last forever if you wanted it to.
