Doom II is has everything that made Doom I great, but refines and adds so much more. It is superior in every way. Doom II has to be one of the best iterations of the Doom series.

An incredible sequel to one of the best games of all time, Majora's Mask is an experiment that succeeded because the developers didn't have enough time to second guess themselves. The game is jam packed with all sorts of weird and interesting curiosities. It has a dark feel, but is also kind hearted and funny at times. Good for Anju.

Dragon Quest XI is a perfect game. The world is expertly crafted not to the whims and complaints of the masses, but following a time honoured framework guided by the expert hand of Horii Yuji. This game's story is not revolutionary, however it is told masterfully and with the detail and care that warrants a classic. It is perfect and beloved.

This was a serviceable dlc, although not quite the Old Hunters. Artorias was a cool fight, while Kalameet was just a gigantic pain in the neck. it's cool that you can also meet a Hunter here.

The Old Hunters is just as good as the original game. Ludwig is so messed up, Orphan of Kos was really tough, and getting to finally fight Laurence was awesome. I can't help but feel though that this should have been included as part of the base game, although I suppose that these are the times we live in.

Very much like Sekiro, Bloodborne is nearly a perfect game. Yharnam is beautiful in a macabre sort of way. The combat is addictive and exhilarating, and the story is, strangely enough, incredibly compelling. Make sure to eat the umbilical cords. The only imperfection is that the Pthumerian Tombs kind of drag on a bit.

I absolutely wrung the content out of this one. This is a perfect game. Even if it's not your cup up tea, there isn't anything you can really say to bring this down. It's just perfect. Whether your want to hone your skills in the underground fighting ring, master Mahjong and collect pinkies, race in the GPs of the pocket circuit, woo a potential crush in the hostess clubs, or any other of the seemingly endless adventures one can go on in this game. You never know when you're going to stumble across some bizarre, sad, or hilarious situation. This is, without a doubt, in my top ten.

I bought this game back on the day it came out, getting it at the old Futureshop in my college town before those all closed. I had no clue what I was doing when I first started. It took me an insanely long time to understand how to play FromSoftware games. It took the pandemic hitting for me to finally beat the Duke's Archives and move forward until I beat it and sided with Kaathe.

Sekiro's combat is extremely addicting, and the action sequences that develop organically from that combat are way more cinematic than you'd expect. Whether fighting shinobi on the rooftops of Ashina Castle, or chugging pacifying agents deep under water, this game creates scenes of gameplay that feel like they were taken directly from an old chanbara film. The story is pretty interesting as well, although it doesn't necessarily have the same tonal mystery as does Bloodborne. Definetly one of the best FromSoft games though.

I love this game. The music, the art, the story; this game is woefully underrated. Isometric games are underrated in general though. I hope SuperGiant make a sequel one day. Also, the gods are crazy tough.

Uncharted games are pretty. It's really nothing too special, but the first game is absolutely beautiful.

This game's combat is phenomenal. Tight, bombastic, and fast-paced, it doesn't get old. I really enjoyed the Valkyrie fights and the muspelheim challenges.

The spencer mansion is weirdly a very warm and nice place. I find it pleasant. Just a good space to inhabit. A decent opening to the series.

This game is quite fun. It's way better than it has any business being. The island is an enjoyable setting, feeling beautiful yet austere throughout. Lara's redesign is well done, and the controls feel pretty decent. By the end of the game, the bow and arrow feels so OP.

Really loved this game. They refined a lot of what worked in the first game and brought a cooler, more grounded Sebastien. The controls are way more polished, the game looks better, works better, and Union is just cool. The villain was maybe not as memorable as Ruvik, but still interesting. Loved the coffee mechanic as well. An underappreciated survival horror classic in my opinion.
